Incluir los puntos que del enunciado en el mismo orden. 1 o 2 frases de cada.
Usar adjetivos, conectores, relative clauses (who, which, whose, where, when,
how) para unir 2 dos frases.
TEMAS:
- Dar las gracias a alguien: Thanking someone. Por un regalo, dinero prestado
o invitación a evento.

Elegir una de las 2 opciones:
OPCIÓN 1: CARTA INFORMAL (+ fácil)
Estructura:
1. Dear “X”
2. Muletilla:
 I’m glad to hear from you (me alegro de saber de ti)
 It is great to hear from you (me alegro de saber de ti)
 I hadn’t heard from you for ages (llevaba siglos sin saber de ti)
 It was great to read your letter (me ha alegrado leer tu carta)
 How’s things? (¿qué tal va todo?)
 Thanks for writing (gracias por escribirme)
 EJEMPLO:
Dear Pepe,

3. Responder a las preguntas. Un párrafo cada una.
4. Cerrar con muletillas:
 That’s all for now (eso es todo por ahora)
 Don’t forget to write son (no olvides escribir pronto)
 I’m looking forward to Reading your answer/reply (espero con ganas
tu respuesta/contestación)
 Take care (cuídate)
 Say hello to your family for me (dale recuerdos a tu familia de mi

5. Cerrar la carta: BEST (vale para cualquier destinatario) + tu NOMBRE
OPCIÓN 2: HISTORIA CONTADA EN PASADO
Te pueden dar:
TÍTULO: The dream/ The wrong day/ The house/ Winning the prize/ The best day of
my life.
PRIMERA ORACIÓN: When I turned round, I could not believe/ I turned round and
realized that I was next to my hero/ That was the best day of my life
ESTRUCTURA: Presentación, nudo y desenlace.
ELEMENTOS DE LA HISTORIA: Cómos y porqués: Who? Where? Why? How? What?
Quién es el protagonista, qué le ocurre, por qué le ocurre eso, cuándo sucede, cómo
se desarrolla, dónde se desarrolla, dónde tiene lugar todo…
Escribir de manera formal: sin contracciones ni expresiones coloquiales, usar
vocabulario avanzado o menos común (good, nice, happy), usar el tiempo pasado
(past simple y past perfect).

4. SPEAKING
PARTE 1: INFORMACIÓN BÁSICA Y PERSONAL
– What’s your name? What’s your surname, can you spell it?
– Where do you live?
– What do you do? Are you a student or do you work?
– What subjects do you study?
– What do you like to do in your free time?
– Do you enjoy studying English?
– Do you think English will be useful in the future?
– Tell me what you did yesterday night.
– What would you like to do in the future?
4 puntos para responder:
– Razones (justifica tu respuesta)
– Ejemplos (personales, de tu pasado, etc)
– Sentimientos (cómo te sientes respecto a algo, por qué te gusta, un poco de
vida)
– Información extra (cualquier detalle, por simple que sea, vale)
Claves:
 Preferencias: like, hate, dislike, love. I like top lay tennis/ I like playing

 I live in Tudela, which is near Pamplona. Near to. Near=cerca de
 I would like TO study…
 Pronunciar la –ed del pasado.

5. PARTE 2: FOTOGRAFÍAS EN PAREJA (3’)
Entregan una hoja con varias fotos que dan respuesta a un tema concreto. Hay que
comentar cada fotografía con el compañero para acabar eligiendo una.
Temas:
- Plan de tiempo libre: deporte, fiesta, cine, cenar…
- Nuevo hobby o curso: fotografía, fútbol, historia, baile…
- Fin de semana con un familiar: llevarlo al zoo, museo, feria…
- Trabajo para un amigo, mejor opción: repartidor, auxiliar de hospital…
- Nueva ciudad: cine, museos, restaurantes, guía…
- Viaje a Londres o excursión colegio: qué llevar.
Pasos a seguir:
1. Elegir una de las fotos y dar nuestra opinión.
2. Preguntar a nuestro compañero/a lo que opina sobre esa opción.
3. Decir algo sobre su comentario y repetir pasos 1 y 2 con otra opción.
4. Cuando ambos hayáis comentado las opciones, elegid una.
Claves:
– Mantén la conversación en movimiento y no te quedes callado.
– Da respuestas largas y con fundamento cuando hables.
– Intenta contestar ambas preguntas.
– Llega a algún tipo de acuerdo con el otro candidato.
– Pregunta a tu compañero si quiere hablar primero:
o Do you want to speak first? (¿quieres empezar tú?)
o Shall I start? (¿empiezo yo?)
o Should I speak first? (¿quieres que empiece yo?)
– Tras opinar, pregunta:
o What about you?
o And, what do you think?
o What’s your opinión?
o Do you agree?
– Reacciona ante los comentarios del compañero.

o You’ve got a point there (ahí llevas razón, sí)

– Pasar de una foto a otra:
o So…what about this option? (vale… y esta qué te parece?)
o So…what do you think about this one? (qué piensas sobre esta/o?)
o So…let’s talk about another option (vale, vamos a hablar de otra
opción)

6. PARTE 3: FOTOGRAFÍA INDIVIDUAL (1’30’’)
Pasos a seguir:
1. Empezar con: In this picture I can see… This picture shows…
2. Céntrate en lo que se ve: tipo de lugar, personas en él, actividad que están
realizando, objetos y su posición, tiempo, hora del día, ropa que lleve la
gente, etc.
3. Si no conoces el nombre de un elemento específico, intenta describirlo.
TRES DIMENSIONES:
Profundidad (depth)
In the foreground (en primer plano)
In the middleground (en segundo plano, a media distancia)
In the background (en el fondo)
Anchura (width)
On the left/ to the left of the picture (a la izquierda)
On the right/ to the right of the picture (a la derecha)
Altura (height)
At the top (en la parte de arriba)
At the bottom (en la parte de abajo)
SIEMPRE DE LO GENERAL (ELEMENTOS GRANDES E IMPORTANTES) A LO
PARTICULAR (DETALLES).
- Contexto.
- Personajes.
- Detalles.
- Posición de los objetos.
- Distancias.
- Ropa.

7. PARTE 4: CONVERSACIÓN CORRIENTE (3’)
1. Preguntar al otro candidato si prefiere empezar
 Would you like to speak first?

 Do you prefer to start?
2. Pregunta tras dar tu opinión.
3. Reacciona ante lo que dice tu compañero:
 You agree/ I’m not sure about that (no estoy seguropositive
reaction
o Yeah, I agree with you (estoy de acuerdo)
o That´s true (eso es verdad/cierto)
o You’re right (llevas razón)
o You’ve got a point there (ahí llevas razón)
o That’s cool/great (mola)
 You disagree/negative
o I’m not sure about that (no estoy seguro de eso)
o You might be right, but… (quizá sea cierto, pero…)
o I disagree, because… (no estoy de acuerdo porque)
o I see your point, but (entiendo lo que quieres decir, pero…)

4. Evita quedarte en blanco:
 Respuestas largas con la receta: reasons, examples, feelings and extra
info.
 Muletillas (fillers):
o Let me think (déjame pensar)

o Where was I? (¿por dónde iba?)
o What I mean is (lo que quiero decir es)

– Tiempo libre: what do you usually do in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
Do you prefer to be indoors or outdoors?
– Deporte: do you do sport? What sports do you practise? Are you an active person
or do you prefer to do other kinds of things?
– Relax: how do you relax when you are stressed? Where do you go or what
activities do you usually do?
– Vacaciones: Where do you like to go when you’re on holidays? What’s your ideal
destination for a holiday? Who would you go with?
– Manualidades: what things do you make? Why do you make them, or what do
you like about making them? What is the process?
– Idiomas: Do you think learning languages is important nowadays? What other
languages do you study, apart from English? Would you like to study a new
language?

8. – Trabajo: What would be your ideal job? Do you think it’s important to like your
job? What kind of jobs would you prefer?
– Música: What music genres do you like? Do you listen to music very often? Have
you ever been to concerts?
– Amistades: What do you usually do when you are with your friends? What are
they like? Do you get along well with them?
– Familia: Do you get on well with your family? Do you spend a lot of time with
your family or do you prefer to be alone? What kind of activities do you do
together?
– El tiempo: What kind of weather do you prefer? What’s your favourite season?
What do you normally do in each part of the year?
– Fotografía: do you like taking photos? What do you usually take photos of? Do
you take photos with your mobile or do you use a camera?
