Este documento presenta un estudio sobre un modelo degenerativo en la enfermedad de Alzheimer. Los autores analizaron las diferencias en el volumen de varias estructuras cerebrales entre sujetos normales y con Alzheimer utilizando imágenes de resonancia magnética. Encontraron que estructuras como los lóbulos paracentrales, giros postcentral y precentral, y el giro angular mostraron mayores diferencias de volumen entre los grupos.
