2. Step 1 / Paso 1:
Identify words that are difficult for you to pronounce or words that you want
to learn or check the pronunciation of. / Identifica palabras que te sean difíciles
de pronunciar o palabras de las que quieras aprenden o verificar su pronunciación.
- Make a list / Haz una lista

3. Step 2 / Paso 2:
Look for the word in an online dictionary that provides the pronunciation of
the words./ Busca la palabra en un diccionario online que tenga disponible la
pronunciación de las palabras.

4. Choose the accent you like the most./ Elige un acento de preferencia.
Step 3 / Paso 3:
Cambridge dictionary
offers you two accents,
British and American. /
El diccionario de
Cambridge te ofrece dos
acentos, Britanico y
Americano.
AMERICAN /

BRITISH /

5. Step 4 / Paso 4:
Listen to the word as many times as necessary./ Escucha la palabra las veces
que sea necesario.

6. Step 5 / Paso 5:
Repeat the word aloud slowly paying attention to all the sounds. / Repite la
palabra en voz alta lentamente prestando atención a todos los sonidos.

7. Step 6 / Paso 6:
Cuando te sientas cómodo/a intenta decir la palabra a velocidad normal.
Luego vuelve a revisar la pronunciación. / Once you are comfortable enough
try to say the world at normal speed. Then check the pronunciation again.

Use the word in context. / Usa la palabra en contexto.

9. Step 7 / Paso 7:
Go to the “sentences with” option and
you will find several sentences with
any word you like. / Entra a la opción
“sentences with” y encontrarás numerosas
oraciones con cualquier palabra que
desees.
To search for pronunciation of a word, change the option to “Pronounce”. / Para buscar la
pronunciation de alguna palabra cambia la opción a “Pronounce”.

10. Bonus
Try practicing saying full sentences. / Intenta practicar diciendo
oraciones completas.

context. You can also change the speed of each
