1. Sandpaper, files and deburner tool are
dangerous tools to use.
The use of sandpaper is banned in the company
UNLESS a supervisor is present because the
sandpaper can get wrapped in your hands and pull
you into the machine. Talk to your supervisor if
you want to use it or use it without turning on the
machine. If you get permission to use sandpaper,
do not use gloves, do not wrap the sandpaper
around your hands and do not wrap it around your
fingers, use a long bar to hold it and use slow
speed on your machine. Files are dangerous
because it can hit the jaws and hit you back, it can
break and get flying sharp parts and debris on
your eyes or others, it can slip and make your
