intercambiables, pero a menudo pueden tener significados diferentes.
Existe una forma corta del verbo modal “will” tanto en el afirmativo
como en el negativo.

4. Affirmative sentences.
Sujeto + will + verbo principal.
Examples.
I will see you tonight. (Te veré esta noche).
He will arrive to the party late. (El llegará a la fiesta tarde)
They will be happy to see you today. (Ellos estarán felices de verte
hoy).

5. Negative sentences.
Sujeto + will + not + verbo principal.
Examples.
I will not see you tonight. (No te veré esta noche).
He will not arrive to the party late. (El no llegará a la fiesta tarde)
They will not be happy to see you today. (Ellos no estarán felices de
verte hoy).

6. Interrogative sentences.
Will + Sujeto + verbo principal + ?
Examples.
Will I see you tonight. (¿Te veré esta noche?).
Will he arrive to the party late. (¿El llegará a la fiesta tarde?)
Will they be happy to see you today. (¿Ellos estarán felices de verte
hoy?).

7. Future “Going to” (“ir a”)
Affirmative sentences.
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to be) + going to +verbo principal.
Examples:
We are going to go the beach this weekend. (Nosotros vamos a ir a la
playa este fin de semana).
He is going to go the concert tomorrow. (El va a ir al concierto mañana).
You are going to see that movie with your friends. (Vas a ir a ver esa
película con tus amigos).

8. Future “Going to” (“ir a”)
Negative sentences.
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to be) + not + going to +verbo principal.
Examples:
We are not going to go the beach this weekend. (Nosotros no vamos a ir a
la playa este fin de semana).
He is not going to go the concert tomorrow. (El no va a ir al concierto
mañana).
You are not going to see that movie with your friends. (No vas a ir a ver esa
película con tus amigos).

9. Future “Going to” (“ir a”)
Interrogative sentences.
Verbo auxiliar (to be) + Sujeto + going to + verbo principal + ?
Examples:
Are we going to go the beach this weekend. (¿Nosotros vamos a ir a la
playa este fin de semana?).
Is he going to go the concert tomorrow. (¿El va a ir al concierto mañana?).
Are you going to see that movie with your friends. (¿Vas a ir a ver esa
película con tus amigos?).

10. Future “Going to” (“ir a”) and “Will”
Uses.
Las formas “will” y “going to” se utilizan para expresar el futuro. La diferencia
entre “going to” y “will” es el sentido de planificación y probabilidad de
que suceda un evento. En general, se usa “going to” para planes concretos,
cuando estamos seguros de que algo va a suceder.
Se utiliza will para acciones voluntarias y para
expresar una promesa.
Se usa going to para planes establecidos.
Ambos se pueden utilizar para hacer
predicciones.
