1. FUTURE WILL
Future Simple con “Will” es el futuro en inglés que permite expresar decisiones espontáneas sobre
acciones futuras, predicciones o acontecimientos futuros que no pueden alterarse. Se forma con el
verbo auxiliar “will” y el infinitivo del verbo principal.
a) Usamos “will” para hacer predicciones sobre el futuro:
➢ There are many clouds in the sky, it will rain soon. (Hay muchas nubes en el cielo, lloverá
pronto.)
➢ I’m sure you will enjoy your holiday in Colorado. (Estoy seguro(a) que disfrutarás tus
vacaciones en Colorado)
➢ If you don’t study more, you won’t pass your exam. (si tú no estudias más, tú no pasarás
tu examen)
b) Para hablar de hechos futuros que están fuera del control de quien habla:
➢ I will be twenty-five next week. → I will be = tendré →(tendré 25 años la próxima
semana)
➢ Barbara will be here in five minutes. (Bárbara estará aquí en 5 minutos)
c) Para hacer ofertas y promesas:
➢ I will help you to paint your house. (te ayudaré a pintar tu casa)
➢ I will come to visit you as soon as I can. (vendré a visitarte tan pronto como pueda)
d) Cuando tomamos una decisión mientras hablamos, es decir decisión espontánea:
➢ Wait a moment. I will get you something to drink. (Espera un momento. Te traeré algo
para beber)
➢ I will do my best to help you, don’t worry. (Haré mi mejor ayuda para ti, no te preocupes.)

AFFIRMATIVE: (Afirmativa)
SUJETO+ WILL+ VERBO EN SU FORMA SIMPLE+ COMPLEMENTO.
NEGATIVE: (Negativa)
SUJETO+ WILL+NOT + VERBO EN SU FORMA SIMPLE+ COMPLEMENTO. → WILL NOT= WON’T
INTERROGATIVE: (Interrogativa)
WILL + SUJETO + VERBO EN SU FORMA SIMPLE+ COMPLEMENTO + ?

NOTA: En lugar de usar un pronombre personal puedes usar nombres de personas o miembros de
la familia cuando construyas oraciones.
