Have students watch the video through 1:47. Show it a few (3?) times. Do a think / pair / share to have them list ideas, words, concepts that they see in the video. Write them on the board. Then, do a movie talk, stopping to narrate every so often, incorporating the words that students listed and also other missing key words that they might not have come up with. Then, have students narrate. Show the video and stop and different parts. Have them tell their partner what happens.

Have students mark the country on the map.
Discussion questions.
Do the last part again like the first. Think, pair, share. Then, movie talk.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et9RymBDmC4 Watch video one time without having student look for anything. Just observe.
Split the class in two. Half watch for the kid living in the north, the other half watch for the kid living in the south. They need to write five sentences, ideas or words that describe the day of the child they are watching for.
Share out.
Print this infographic in color for all students. A class set should be sufficient. Ask students “What can you tell me about trabajo infantil?” Have them come up with sentences that compare/contrast the topic and summarize IN THEIR OWN WORDS what they are seeing in the infographic.
Now, have them complete these sentences, using the infographic. You could copy these sentences and have them write their answers down if you want. Not sure if I will do that yet.
