Y un poco comentarles las herramientas que estoy usando, que son básicamente
duolingo, podcasts, audios, vídeo y flashcards. Los audios y vídeos son mayor-
mente los que ofrece una página buenísima que les recomiendo cien por cien: ital-

And just let you know about the tools I’m using, which are basically duolingo, pod-
casts, audios, video and flashcards. The audios and videos are mainly the ones of-

En cuanto a las flashcards, estoy usando Quizlet (tienen versión web y para
móviles) y la aplicación Flashcards Deluxe para mi teléfono móvil (cuesta £2.69
pero vale totalmente la pena). De estas dos, uso sobre todo Flashcards Deluxe
porque puedo practicar fácilmente en cualquier sitio, y tiene sistemas de memo-
rización muy interesantes como el llamado spaced repetition.
With regards to the flashcards, I’m using Quizlet (they have a web version as well
as one for mobile phones) and the app Flashcards Deluxe for my mobile phone (it
costs £2.69 but it’s totally worth it). Of these two, I mainly use Flashcards Deluxe
because I can easily practise everywhere, and it has very interesting memorising
features such as the so-called spaced repetition.

2. La razón por la que les digo todo esto es porque se me ha ocurrido la idea de
crear flashcards relacionadas con la temática de los artículos que publico.
The reason why I’m telling you all this is because I’m had the idea of creating flash-
cards related to the topic of the articles I publish.
De este modo tendrían un recurso muy útil y práctico para repasar lo aprendido en
esta misma página o en sus móviles!
That way you’d have very useful and practical resource to review what you’ve learnt
in this same webpage or in your mobile phones!
Con un poco de creatividad, creo que con este método se podría practicar muy
bien no solo vocabulario sino también ciertas estructuras gramaticales, frases he-
chas, expresiones, etc.
With a bit of creativity, I think that with this method it’d be possible to practise not
only vocabulary but also certain grammatical structures, set phrases, expressions,
etc.
En cualquier caso, les animo a que ustedes también hagan sus propias flashcards
con la temática que prefieran (o necesiten mejorar). ¡La creación de material es en
sí misma una forma de aprender!
In any case, I encourage you to also create your own flashcards with your pre-
ferred topic (or the ones you need to practise). The creation of material is in itself a
way to learn!
Para finalizar este artículo, les dejo un ejemplo de lo que en un futuro podría ir
ofreciéndoles. Todas las frases de esta “baraja” (que he creado en quizlet.com)
son frases para traducir sacadas de este mismo artículo, de tal modo que ya
tienen un contexto sobre el que pensar (traducir frases sin contexto no me parece
una buena idea ya que me parece muy poco natural).
To finish this article, I’ll leave you an example of what I could be offering you in the
future. All the sentences in this “deck” (which I’ve created at quizlet.com) are sen-
tences to translate taken from this same article, so you’ve got a context you can be
based upon (I don’t think translating sentences without a context is a good idea as
it’s far from being very natural).
