Let me start with 2 concepts in order to align ourselves in terms of what they mean
Let me start with 2 concepts in order to align ourselves in terms of what they mean
Purchase process - You are very familiar with it
Sales Process
This is the Way my father would buy a car
He used to see TV, read newspaper, Recienve mail, listen to radio before the born of a need
Once he had a need: friends, and stores - interaction with several salesmen. Maybe, he would as well recieve some extra mail after a first interaction with a salesman ‘cos he gave his date in order to recieve further invormation
Companies who understood well the purchase process would:
produce comercials for tv, radio, and newpapers
send advertising mailing campaings
direct marketing campaings
a good sales force
good crms
This is my brother
He is not buying anymore like my dad
B/having a need he consumes info differently - he doesn’t like interruptions anymore
When a purchase process starts
He gathers information in th internet mainly: blogs, etc…
And only at the end is going to be interested in a store o salesmen, sometimes not: checkout
first let’s focus our attention in this last part of the process
once he has covered all the process, he doesn’t just want to buy:
experiences
trust
multidevice
customer service
devolución
in order to cover these needs:
companys need an integrated strategy - this is omni channle
second - this is inbound marketing
Let me start with 2 concepts in order to align ourselves in terms of what they mean
