En las encuestas cualitativas cara a cara, el investigador
hace a los participantes una o más preguntas abiertas
sobre un tema, normalmente viendo las expresiones
faciales y otros comportamientos del participante

El hecho de poder ver las reacciones del encuestado
permite al investigador hacer preguntas de seguimiento

Las encuestas cualitativas telefónicas son similares al
método cara a cara, pero sin que el investigador pueda

Las encuestas online pueden recopilar un mayor número

escaleras?).
No formular la pregunta de
forma negativa (¿no piensa
usted que fumar perjudica su
salud?).

Las preguntas deben ser cortas y
no contener muchos conceptos
Utilizar un lenguaje sencillo: ¿a
qué edad tuvo la menarquia
(primera regla)?
No sobrevalorar la memoria de
los encuestados: preguntar por
acontecimientos recientes es
más fácil para el encuestado.
Para las cuestiones personales
es mejor utilizar preguntas
cerradas.
