El documento resume 15 principios de Black Market International, un grupo de performance artística. Algunos principios clave son que el arte del encuentro se convierte en una política de lo comunitario, que la performance es una investigación de las formas de atención, y que todo es posible en el arte de acción.

Ahora bien, podemos distinguir los movimientos con que un sujeto interviene en el mundo (actúa instrumentalmente) de los movimientos con que un sujeto encarna un significado (se expresa comunicativamente). Los movimientos del cuerpo causan en ambos casos un cambio físico en el mundo ; en el primer caso este cambio es causalmente relevante, en el segundo, semánticamente relevante. Ejemplos de movimientos corporales causalmente relevantes de un actor son: erguir el cuerpo, extender la mano, levantar el brazo, cruzar las piernas, etc. Ejemplos de movimientos corporales semánticamente relevantes son: los movimientos de la laringe, de la boca, de los labios, etc., en la producción de fonemas; las inclinaciones de cabeza, los encogimientos de hombros, los movimientos de los dedos al tocar el piano, los movimientos de la mano al escribir, al dibujar, etc. ______________________________ HABERMAS, Jürgen. MICHAEL LACHANCE __________________ - The 4th principle of BMI is that it is only an artistic idea, a creative hypothesis that could not be founded on certainties . - The 5th BMI principle is that the artist must adjust his presence in the way he feels the space , and in the way he creates a duration in time through his actions. - The 6th BMI principle is that the whole process must not end in a synthesis (a demonstration, a moral…), the event’s indetermination must be maintained .

Here, we find Robert Filiou’s exhortation: “Art is where you live”. - The 11th BMI principle stipulates that it is in the heart of total solitude that we can find the greatest concentration that we can reach the utmost and accomplished being-entity. - The 12th BMI principle aims at maintaining performance in an ontological paradox: the ambivalence of being and non-being , of visible and invisible – trying to give form to a third element, that of a differed existence , of a constantly imminent emergence.

Performance, as seen by BMI, is not the search for a greater technical or utilitarian efficacy ; - The 14th BMI principle is that we must stay away from common language ; we must practice a game of non-communicative provocations that create in the end a deficit of interpretation, a hearing hindrance, and a spiritual embarrassment .
