computación Ray Tomlinson a finales de 1971. Se envió entre dos ordenadores que

46. Configurando nuestra campaña

Al hacer scroll en la página de información de campaña nos encontramos con dos
bloques de información que nos permiten añadir nuevas opciones a la campaña.
En Tracking (rastreo) aparecen marcadas por defecto las opciones de rastrear los clics en
campañas regulares y de texto. También podemos habilitar otras opciones de
seguimiento como Google Analytics, eCommerce 360, Clicktale o Salesforce, pero para
ello debemos tener estas herramientas integradas en nuestra cuenta de Mailchimp.

La pestaña de Social Media nos permite automatizar la publicación de la
campaña en Twitter y Facebook.
En ‘Mas opciones’ podemos autoconvertir los vídeos embebidos en nuestra
newsletter en un formato ‘email friendly’ para ser visualizados correctamente.
Además, la opción ‘Authenticate campaign’ permite asignar un identificador
trazable a nuestra campaña para confirmar que es auténtica y no spam.
48. Modelos de plantillas: Basic
Mailchimp permite crear boletines de manera muy simple gracias a su colección de
plantillas (‘templates’), a las que podemos acceder desde el menú principal o cuando
creamos una campaña. La opción ‘Basic’ muestra diferentes variaciones de diseño que
luego podremospersonalizar con nuestros textos e imágenes.

Otra opción para crear nuestra plantilla es seleccionar ‘Themes’, que son
plantillas prediseñadas en base al tipo de campaña y sector de la industria.
Al igual que con los diseños básicos, podemos personalizar los contenidos de
estas newsletter para conseguir el resultado deseado.
50. Selección de plantillas
Es hora de elegir el modelo de newsletter que vamos a enviar a nuestra lista de
destinatarios. Podemos elegir una plantilla (Template) y comenzar a diseñarla desde
‘Basic’ o ‘Themes’ o bien elegir un diseño ya realizado (‘Saved templates’), reenviar una
campaña previa (‘Campaings’) o crear una plantilla desde cero creando y modificando su
HTML(‘Code your own)
52. Editor de plantillas
Al trabajar con la plantilla, la pantalla está dividida en dos partes. En la izquierda
vemos nuestra plantilla modificada y en la derecha los widgets que podemos
añadir a nuestro boletín para añadirle nuevas funcionalidades (texto, foto,
vídeo, redes sociales). Basta con pinchar el elemento y arrastrarlo a la plantilla.

53. Editor de plantillas II
La edición de plantillas de Mailchimp es un proceso similar al de la edición de un
post en Wordpress u otro CMS. Al pinchar sobre un objeto del mail, podemos
ver su contenido y editar sus imágenes o el texto en HTML.
56. ¡Listos para el envío!
Una vez que hemos
comprobado que todos los
datos de nuestra campaña
(destinatarios, asunto,
remitente, aviso legal,
etc…) son correctos, solo
falta enviar nuestra
campaña pinchando en el
botón ‘Send Now’ (Enviar
ahora).
En pocos minutos la
campaña será enviada a
nuestra lista de
suscriptores y podremos
ver los primeros informes
de su rendimiento.

Una vez hayamos enviado alguna campaña, podremos ver las estadísticas para
comprobar si están funcionando o no.
Accedemos a los informes desde el menú superior en la opción “Reports”
(Informes). Aquí veremos un listado con todas las campañas enviadas.

Esta pantalla nos ofrece información más detallada de los resultados de la
campaña seleccionada. La tabla destacada en rojo muestra los datos
principales de nuestra campaña: emails abiertos, número de clics, emails
rebotados o erróneos y personas que se han dado de baja.

Si hacemos scroll, podemos consultar más información acerca de nuestra
campaña como su rendimiento en 23 horas, los enlaces con más clics y los
suscriptores que más abren nuestros correos (los más fidelizados)
61. Automatización de respuestas
La opción de pago de Mailchimp da la posibilidad de enviar respuestas
automatizadas ante determinadas acciones de los usuarios (suscribirse a una
promoción, comprar un producto, etc..). Podemos acceder a esta opción
desde el menú principal pinchando en ‘Automation’.
