3. A LEGACY OF JAPAN TO THE WORLD
Japan is a country that has always stood out throughout history because of the
things that makes or does, its very unique arts of the eastern part of the world.
But above all two things that stand out in the art of calligraphy Japan are very
well known worldwide as either a symbolic or a simple form of writing, on the
other hand are the famous Japanese paintings where are the samurai warriors
fighting against their enemies, or holiness to them, their way of representing it
was by painting, then portrayed the monks, which were dragons as gods were
wise to them. These things attract attention worldwide, as they grow because of
globalization, this art was generating more viewers, where it is now common to
see anywhere, both South America and Europe, a person with a dragon
tattooed Japanese or Instead a letter that symbolizes something. This was
previously only seen in Japan, although it does not change is that several
countries have adopted these things, but many do not know where they come
from its origins as it grew up to be what he is today.
Japanese calligraphy comes from a copy of Chinese civilization, which also has
a similar writing in the paint. But Japan gave him his touches so you do not see
this as a fraud, later with the arrival of Europeans in the East, Japan began to
make major changes in writing in calligraphy. For the technique they used for
the creation of his works began to change, because what they did was take the
characteristics that European countries had to paint. The Japanese eventually
began to show the changes that occurred in his painting. It was not as
traditional as it had started from the beginning.
Later most of the Japanese left their traditions to see pictures and paintings and
an object of adoration, and move the art of painting to be something more than
admiration, and then Japanese artists of the time did not look as in previous If
this technique was now motivating and that effort being exerted in the past for
the creation of a painting, whether based on nature and / or the divinity of the
gods and wisdom.
Similarly this happened with the writing I become part of their meaning, and
throughout the world, this began to expand then began to become very
common, this could be observed in some people who get tattoos a letter or
symbol, meaning show something. Although many do not know the true
meaning had calligraphy as a symbol for some years. This art of calligraphy
loses its interest, which contracts they no longer have as much originality, it is
no longer a symbol of Japanese which carried him to give him strength and
power at the time of the battle or work, but was now an American wearing this
symbol because it seemed interesting, and realize just what I wanted to see
something strange in your body. This for the ancient philosophers and sages
mountains of Japan had been an insult, seeing his enemy or ally, carrying one
of the most important things in their civilization, calligraphy, carried with him as
something of exhibition, or that is not much sense. Globalization as it did in
4. some part not only help but also destroy some of eta civilization, though not
because they are now losing a little of what is art, or display.
Then we made a survey to determine which tano people caught their attention
on Japanese calligraphy or drawing, the results were obtained in a middle point
where it was shown that between thirty people, half of public support and are of
According to the exhibition of this art world as something more or even a way of
expression. On the other hand there were those to whom the subject of
calligraphy and / or drawing in Japan, not interested in the topic, which did not
elaborate on this legacy in Japan. For them it is better to leave it still. Of these
people who are not interested in art, some chose to say that just do not load or
draws attention to themselves admire art that is not theirs, and speak of ortho
side who have not had the opportunity or has not sought the occasion to detail
that legacy Japanese.
Today Japan has seen virtually all of its history through drawing and calligraphy,
as these things are most important from the past, so far, although it has lost
some of this symbolism within Japanese society itself , and more with
globalization popularized this art exhibition and doing something no more than
symbolic representation as it was previously operated in Japan. Once the
survey to a small part of the Colombian population showed that there is a fifty
percent, which does not handle Japanese art, either for many reasons, but then
if you get a great interest in this. For Latin American continent is appreciating
this art strokes that are used, plus it has some similarity with the history of
Indians living and settled in the continent of South America. This can be
handled as Latin America with respect to thinking about Japan is handled.
Basically Japan made their art, polished it, and over time gave to the world,
showed the legacy he had, making the countries around the world to adopt their
own way.
