Elder Schone-Personal Narrative
This week I forgot to bring two very important things with me to the library this week. My planner
where I wrote down some important things I wanted to talk about. and I also forgot my camera cord.
I'll have to send my pictures next week.
We'll first things first. Looks like I'll be now leading the area. Elder Schone was transfered up to the
high desert and now I have a new companion who's name is Elder Thompson. Elder Thompson is
from Ogden Utah and went the same high school. Wow small world! This will be a good
companionship. We are going to get some good work done.
Monday we were going through our area book and we found a family who had been taught few of
the lessons so we deside to check and see who they were. Turns out the kids absolutly love the
missionaries they said that they want to meet with us tonight so we will see how that goes. I pretty
excited to meet with them and see how that all turns out.

Pedro Nune's Life And Accomplishments
I selected Pedro Nunes for my famous mathematician project, I chose this mathematician because i
wanted to find out what a mathematician was. Also when i saw his picture he looked interesting and i
wanted to learn more about him. His lifespan was 76 years he died in August 11, 1578. His birthplace
was in Alcacer do sal, Portugal. The historic events that occurred during his life was he had contact
with a person called martim afonso de sousa (explorer and future vice roy of india). And on
november 16th 1529, he earned the name cosmographer. And after lots of hard work he was offered a

Unfortunately nothing is known about his parents, but it is certain that they were of a Jewish religion.
Also his grandchildren spent a few years behind bars after they were accused by the Portuguese
inquisition of proffering and secretly practicing Judaism. Pedro Nune's had lots of occupations but
his first one was that he was a teacher and taught prince Louis. The brother of Joao o piedoso who at
the time was the king of Portugal. Pedro was also appointed as cosmographer the kingdom of
Portugal. He also taught moral philosophy at the university of Lisborn. He also got his medical
doctorate on march 3, 1532. Pedro Nune's had many contributions to mathematics but he is best
known for his contribution in the national sciences in navigation and cartography. He was the first
person to approach it in a mathematical way. He was the person who invented the idea called the
loxo drome. he was also the inventor of several measuring devices, called nonius from which the
vernier scale was derived. Pedro Nune's was considered one of the best mathematicians of his time.

Tamara Kamenszain's Poetry Of The Neobaroque
On a first commentary regarding her writing practice, Tamara Kamenszain stated that her approach
to literature was framed by the study of philosophy. She highlighted the influence that Lezama
Lima's work had on her writing, suggesting that he facilitated the bridge between literature and
philosophical reflection. However, in thinking of such reflection, it could perhaps be considered as
one that does not fully encapsulate the "I" because, as we have clearly seen, the poetry of the
Neobaroque–as well as of the Baroque–is marked by the absence of the subject. Kamenszain spoke
briefly of Roland Barthes and his contention that the writers of his generation suffered the censorship
of the subject. The author even shared a story of a work of hers that was rejected because the referent
was clearly distinguishable. Taking into consideration both Kamenszain's poetry reading and her visit
to our class, ¬I am interested in reflecting on the interplay between this idea of the censorship of the
subject and the term Neoborroso, proposed by the author herself.
At the poetry reading held a few weeks ago, Kamenszain stated that her introduction of the term
Neoborroso had a lot to do with an eagerness to eliminate dualisms. She also referred to Alejandra
Pizarnik's idea of escriborrotear–to write and to erase all at the same time, a game of doing and
undoing simultaneously. Nonetheless, the idea of the borroso seems to be in conflict with la claridad
that doing autobiographical work requires.

Frankenstein vs Edward Scissorhands
In Mary Shelley's novel, Frankenstein, and Tim Burton's film, Edward Scissorhands, both the
Creature and Edward have many challenges, and some are very similar. There are a couple distinct
differences between the two. While in Frankenstein and Edward Scissorhands, the main characters
are both wanting to be accepted, and are created out of curiosity, only Edward is loved and accepted,
and he isn't violent like the Creature.
The Creature and Edward are created by humans out of curiosity. In Edward Scissorhands, he is
constructed out of random things, but his creator didn't finish him before he passed away from a

When examining any culture, pieces of other ideologies and cultural normalities different than the
foremost culture prevail, intertwining different cultures together. Spain, historically, has been known
to be a passing point for a wide variety of religious groups. During the ancient world, Christian,
Muslim, and Jewish peoples coexisted, each ultimately contributing to Spanish culture. Starting
around 701 C.E., Muslim forces began to expand into areas around the Middle East, gradually
broadening this land mass to reach Spain. Initially, Arab invaders were met with vigorous resistance;
however, as time went on, invaders experienced little opposition, allowing them to reap city after
city. Within the newly Arab–conquered cities, other religious groups faced little discrimination.
Additionally, this conquest established the ever–present influence of Islam on Spanish culture. In this
case, Spain adopted Islamic cultural innovations such as: forms of writing, religious aspects,
architectural styles, and materials supplied for said architectural innovations. Trailing into the
modern world, traces of Islamic culture are evidently intertwined into Spanish culture. Due to Spain's
rich history in interweaving cultures, it can be said that Spanish culture is intensely influenced by
Islamic culture through the invasion of Arab military in medieval time, visually retaining influence
through culture, religion, and architecture.
At the beginning of the early 700s, Muslims from the Arabian Peninsula began their conquest by
convincing nearby Germanic tribes to surrender; though it was not until they travelled across the

Generating and sending e–books:
Step 1:
Once enrolled into the system the taxpayer must obtain the eBooks software program – PLE from
SUNAT Virtual (available for Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems), and install it on his
computer.
Step 2:
Generate, in their own computer systems, books and / or records (text format) according to the
structures listed in Annex No. 2 and with the parameters indicated in the tables of Annex 3 of the
Superintendence Resolution No. 286–2009 / SUNAT, as amended.
Step 3:
The PLE already installed on the PC of the taxpayer, validates the information from books and
records produced by the taxpayer 's computer systems based on the structures referred to step 2, and
automatically generates a file named summary.
Step 4:
Send this Summary SUNAT through PLE using its SOL Key.
Step 5:
SUNAT receives the Summary file and generates a Certificate of Reception; this includes the date

in a Hispanic household and was taught Spanish at a very young age. I spoke only Spanish until I
began kindergarten. My school only permitted English, thus I was placed in an English Language
Development course that helped me learn English. My parents spoke English and Spanish, so I was
able to practice my English with them as well. I was in the E.L.D course from first to fourth grade.
Slowly but surely I was able to communicate effectively, I still struggle with the English grammar.
Due to the drastic change from Spanish to English, my ability to speak Spanish began to deteriorate

For example, "school" becomes eschool or "shape" becomes esshape. Whereas, English native
speakers who learn Spanish at a later age struggle with understanding that some letters are not
pronounced in particular words. For example, hombre which means man, is pronounced as
"ohmbre", and the letter J actually sounds like the H in the spanish alphabet for instance, san juan. I
feel though that the English language is a much more difficult language compared to Spanish
because it has so many rules that one needs to follow. For instance, Spanish just has those 5 vowels if
you learn them and learn how to pronounce them you are set. (Comparison of Grammar) I will be
comparing the gender agreement in Spanish and English. In Spanish all nouns are either feminine or
masculine (La y El ) and the adjectives have to agree with the noun that is being described. So if the
noun is masculine, the adjective must be masculine and if the same noun is as well plural, the
adjective will be masculine and plural. For instance, "El libro"–masculine and plural, whereas "Los
libros" is all parts masculine and plural as well. Looking at the English language one can see that it

EL PROFETA JOEL
El profeta Joel hace parte en la cultura hebrea y cristiana como uno de los "doce profetas" ya que su
mensaje es corto a comparación con otros escritos proféticos como es el libro de Isaías o Jeremías.
Por esa razón hace parte de los escritos llamados "los doce profetas", ya que en la antigüedad los
escritos se hacían en rollos de papiro o en pergamino que conformaban los manuscritos.
Para evitar el hacer muchos rollos con mensajes pequeños, los escribas realizaron una colección de
escritos y los compilaron en un solo rollo donde existen doce escritos en el cual se encuentra el
Profeta Joel.
En ese rollo encontramos a Oseas¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬, Joel, Amos, Abdías, Jonás, Miqueas, Nahúm,
Habacuc, Sofonías, Hageo, Zacarías y Malaquías. (1)
Dando una breve introducción al tema de los Profetas llamados Posteriores, entraremos a ver en
profundidad el libro del Profeta Joel.

Hay diversos estudios que hasta la fecha no han precisado la época concreta o al menos aproximada
del profeta Joel.
En el libro "Los doce Profetas Menores" lo coloca en el siglo VIII entre los profetas Oseas y Amos,
al igual que nos dice que hay poca información del autor pero es interesante la forma de profetizar.
(2) y esta es la rama más trabajada por los eruditos bíblicos.
Aunque hay personas que lo datan en el siglo IX ya que los imperios de Asiria y Babilonia no

which are both written by Bob Ong. It was published in 2002. Bob Ong is a pen name of a
mysterious Filipino author, Roberto Ong, who uses humor to depict Filipino lives and issues. He has
already written several books such as "Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas", "Alamat ng Gubat",
"Stainless Longganisa", and so on. This book is a compilation of amusing stories from Ong's
website, Bobong Pinoy. At the beginning, Bob Ong described his own experiences to show Filipinos'
way of life, culture and traditions. Several Filipino culture and traditions were portrayed such as
town fiestas, All Souls and Saints' Day, and superstitions. Filipinos has the longest celebration of
Christmas in the world. We also perform things which are only in our country such as carolling, misa
de gallo eating bibingka and puto bumbong and so much more. While in Lenten season, some does
fastings, flagellation and avoiding taking a bath which is one of the superstitions of the Filipino. The
world views that were formed about Filipinos are business – minded which is evident in their
