 Note that -ir verbs with a stem change in the present tense
(o→ue, e→ie, e→i) will also change in the preterit.
 However, the simplified change in the preterit (o→u, e→i)
occurs only in the third-person singular (usted/ él/ella) and
third-person plural (ustedes/ ellos/ellas) forms.
