English uses the phrases each other and one another to express
reciprocal actions: They love each other/one another. Spanish uses
the pronouns nos and se, accompanied by the corresponding verb
forms, to express reciprocal or mutual actions.
Linda y Manuel se llaman Linda and Manuel call each
mucho. other a lot.
Claudia, Juana y yo nos Claudia, Juana and I know one

3. Práctica: Reciprocal constructions
Piensa en un/a amigo/a y contesta las siguientes preguntas sobre
ese/a amigo/a y tú.
• ¿Cómo se comunican? ¿Se llaman por teléfono? ¿Se mandan
mensajes eléctrónicos o mensajes de texto por teléfono?
• ¿Se encuentran frecuentemente? ¿Dónde?
• ¿Se cuentan (tell) sus problemas? ¿Se cuentan secretos?
• ¿Se ayudan con sus estudios?
• ¿Qué cosas se prestan? ¿Dinero, ropa, CD…?
• ¿Se hacen reír (make each other laugh)?
• ¿Se enojan (get upset) a veces también?
