4. 1. Each table will grab a piece of provided construction paper.
2. Think of a COMMON stereotype of Latin American culture or its people,
and write it down on the construction paper.
● Example: “All Hispanics are Mexican.”
1. One group member will tape it to the wall around the classroom.
2. We will go around the room reading each, one by one.
3. If students know of a situation that breaks the stereotype, they will stand up.
4. A student standing up will then tear down the construction paper and throw
it away to prove that the stereotype isn’t always true.
