![Es un tiempo verbal que describe acciones que estaban
siendo realizadas en un momento del pasado al que se hace
referencia y que luego continuaron, por ejemplo: Yesterday
he was studying English. Ayer él estaba estudiando inglés.
(Comenzó a estudiar antes de ese momento y continuó
estudiando posteriormente). Para formar el pasado
continuo se utiliza el verbo auxiliar "to be" y el gerundio
(infinitivo + "-ing") del verbo. El verbo auxiliar "to be" está
en el pasado simple, pero ten en cuenta que "to be" es un
verbo irregular.

Colocar los verbos de las siguientes
oraciones en Pasado Continuo.

Estructura para Formar
Frases Afirmativas:
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to be")
+ gerúndio ("-ing"). Ejemplos:
I'm talking. (Estoy hablando.)
He's eating. (Está comiendo.)

aprendiendo.)
Para forma frases negativas se
necesita Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to
be") + auxiliar negativo ("not") +
gerundio ("-ing").
Ejemplos: I'm not talking. (No estoy
hablando.)
He's not [He isn't] eating. (No
comiendo.)
