2. Se utiliza cuando queremos hablar
de acciones que están ocurriendo
"ahora" o, en un tiempo cercano a
"ahora" o, que no han terminado.
Example:
 I'm eating
 I'm reading a book
Además se utiliza para describir una
acción que va a tener lugar en el futuro
próximo. Siempre se tiene que
mencionar el tiempo en el que se va a
desarrollar la acción
ExampleI am going to London next week.
El Presente Continuo se construye con el
presente del indicativo del verbo "to be" y
el gerundio (infinitivo + "-ing") del verbo.

3. Affirmative sentences
Estructura :
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to be") + gerúndio ("-ing").
 I'm talking.
 He's eating.
 They're learning.
Negative sentences
Estructura:
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to be") + auxiliar negativo ("not") + gerundio ("-ing").
 I'm not talking.
 He's not [He isn't] eating.
 They're not [They aren't] learning.
Interrogative phrases
Se forma con un Verbo auxiliar ("to be") + sujeto + gerundio ("-ing")
 Are you talking?
 Is he eating?
 Are they learning?

4. Describe acciones que estaban siendo
realizadas en un momento del pasado al que
se hace referencia y que luego continuaron,
por ejemplo: Yesterday he was studying
English.
Para formar el pasado continuo se
utiliza el verbo auxiliar "to be" y el
gerundio (infinitivo + "-ing") del
verbo. El verbo auxiliar "to be" está
en el pasado simple, pero ten en
cuenta que "to be" es un verbo
