USAGE: USO
El Presente simple se utiliza para expresar:
ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS
 Las oraciones afirmativas del presente simple constan de un sujeto, un verbo y un complemento.

 La primera parte del siguiente cuadro presenta la conjugación del presente simple con los diferentes pronombres personales. La segunda parte explica las diferentes cambios de deletreo que puede tener un verbo conjugado en tercera persona dependiendo del último sonido que la conforma.

2. 2. SPELLING CHANGES: CAMBIO DE DELETREO
1. Si el verbo termina en /-ch//-s/, /sh/, /-o/; se le debe agregar es a éste.
Watch- watches miss- misses wash- washes go-goes
2. Si el verbo termina en /-y/ y existe un sonido consonántico antes de /-y/, se quita la /-y/
Y se agrega ies
Study- study - studies carry-carry - carries
3. Si el verbo termina en /-y/ y existe un sonido vocálico antes de /-y/, simplemente se le agrega s.
Play – plays
4. Para los verbos que no pertenecen a las anteriores reglas, simplemente se les debe agregar la s. Ejemplo: work- Works.

3. ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS
EL CAMBIO DE DELETREO EN LA FORMACION DE ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS CON TERCERAS PERSONAS
 En el presente simple, el verbo cambia solo en afirmaciones, cuando el sujeto de la oración es una tercera
persona.

4. ORACIONES NEGATIVAS
 Las oraciones negativas utilizan los auxiliares DO y DOES, dependiendo del sujeto de la oración.

 Para realizar oraciones negativas con las primeras y segundas personas se utiliza el auxiliar DO; y para las oraciones negativas cuyo sujeto sea una tercera personas se utiliza el auxiliar DOES.

 Es importante tener en cuenta que los verbos no sufren cambios de deletreo cuando se conforma una oración negativa.

 De igual manera no debemos olvidar que los sujetos pueden ser nombres de personas o cosas y no simplemente pronombres personales.

 Para realizar oraciones interrogativas cuyo sujeto sea uan primera y segundas personas deben utilizar el auxiliar DO; y para las oraciones interrogativas cuyo sujeto sea una tercera persona deben utilizar el auxiliar DOES.

8.  Es importante aclarar que los verbos no cambian o sufren cambio de deletreo cuando se esta realizando una pregunta; inclusive si el sujeto es una tercera persona. La razón principal es que son los auxiliares DO y

 En el presente simple, el verbo no cambia ni en negaciones ni en preguntas.
