22. Agentes inhalatorios
● Isofluorano, sevofluorano
● Circuito circular con cal sodada de grandes animales
● Circular PA potros < 150 kg
● FGF 6 L/min luego 2-4 L/min
● VPPI
24. Monitorización
• Pulso
• TRC y color mucosas
• Posición ojo: NISTAGMOS, Lagrimeo, Reflejo corneal:
PRESENTE!
Física
• Agentes halogenados: (%) insp, esp.
• Capnografía: CO2 < 70 mm Hg
• Pulsioximetría
Respiratoria
• FC: 20-45 lpm
• ECG
• P.A METODOS INVASIVOS: • PAM > 70 mm Hg (agentes
ionotropos + : Dobutamina, etc)
Cardiovascular
25. VPPI
● Equinos ventilan mal durante la
Anestesia General
● VPPI:
– FR: 6-10 rpm
– Presión: 20-40 cm Agua
– VT: Peso x 10
– Ratio I:E: 1:2.5/4.5
– Tiempo inspiración: 1.5-2.5 sg
– OJO hipotensión
31. Particularidades Rumiantes
• Cuidado con el riesgo de regurgitación.
• Facilidad de provocar timpanismo
ruminal.
• Mala ventilación.
• Acidosis Ruminal por falta de saliva.
• Ayunos de sólidos (24-48 h) y líquidos (8-
12 h).
• Al final de la anestesia, limpiar restos de
faringe y mantener tubo endotraqueal.
32. Preanestesia e
inmovilización química:
Uso de los Sedantes
- Tranquilización de los
animales difíciles de manejar.
- Complemento de técnicas
loco-regionales.
- Premedicación de cara a
anestesia general.
Fenotiacinas
(Acepromacina)
- Poco efecto sedante.
- Incremento Del riesgo
de regurgitación.
Dosis: Bovinos 0,01-0,02
mg/kg IV o 0,05-0,1
mg/kg IM.
Ovino, caprino <50 kg,
0,1-0,2 mg/kg IV
> 50 kg, 0,05-0,01 mg/kg
IV
Benzodiacepinas
(Diazepam)
- Efectos secundarios
mínimos sobre el
sistema cardiovascular.
- Buena sedación a 0,4
mg/kg IV.
33. Los rumiantes son sensibles
a este grupo:
Agonistas a2-adrenérgicos
- Xilacina: La sensibilidad del
vacuno varía con la raza.
Contracciones uterinas,
partos prematuros, abole
reflejo deglutor, neumonía
por aspiración, hiperglicemia,
hipoxemia, hipercapnia,
diuresis.
Sensibilidad Cabras > Ovejas
Dosis: 0,05-0,1 mg/kg IV o 0,1-
0,2 mg/kg IM
Detomidina
-Muy similar a la
xilacina.
-Hipertensión
dependiente de la
dosis.
- Duración del efecto 1
hora aprox.
Medetomidina
Sedaciones profundas a 5
ug/kg sin caer en
decúbito.
34. Los rumiantes son sensibles
a este grupo:
Romifidina
Uso en pequeños rumiantes a
50 ug/kg.
Otros:
Hidrato de Cloral
Se puede administrar
VO o IV.
- Bradicardia, poca
analgesia y pobre
relajación muscular.
35. Técnicas de Anestesia
General:
Anestesia Inyectable
Correcta colocación de
catéteres endovenosos
en yugular.
-Premedicación:
xilacina o
medetomidina.
-Inducción: tiopental 5
mg/kg 5% o Ketamina +
diazepam.
- Mantemiento: gotero
triple,
xilacina/ketamina/EGG
1-2 ml/kg/h IV.
36. Anestesia inhalatoria
El factor económico es
determinante:
Isoflourano.
En neonatos valiosos
puede hacerse
inducciones con
mascarilla.
Intubar y administrar oxígeno siempre
que sea posible
37. Monitorización:
- Rotación ventral del ojo y central en plano profundo y
estable.
- Elevados % de CO2 (ventilación mecánica).
- Presión arterial por métodos invasivos (S>200mmHg).
38. Recuperación del Paciente
- Decúbito esternal cuanto antes para expulsar gases.
- Administración de O2 a 12L/min.
- Retirar tubo endotraqueal parcialmente inflado.
- Reversión del sedante en caso necesario.
- Controlar glucemia si la recuperación es lenta.
