3. Definición.
• Las amiloidosis forman parte del grupo de las
enfermedades conformacionales, ya que se
producen por una alteración en el
plegamiento de algunas proteínas o
subunidades proteicas de bajo peso molecular
(entre 5 y 25 kD), la mayoría de las cuales
circulan en su forma soluble en la sangre
como constituyentes del plasma.
