- The exam will be on Friday, 12th May 2017. It will take place at Instituto Cervantes Utrecht. Bare in mind that you should ask school for permission at school to go there. BE AT THE VENUE AT 08:00 o’clock in the morning, please!

- The exam consists of 4 parts: Test / Part 1: Reading comprehension. Test / Part 2: Listening comprehension. Test / Part 3: Writing. Test / Part 4: Speaking.
- For each part there is a specific time: You have 45 minutes to do the test 1 – Part 1: Reading comprehension. You have 20 minutes to do the test 2 – Part 2: Listening comprehension. You have 25 minutes to do the test 3 – Part 3: Writing. You have 20 minutes in total to do the test 4 – Part 4: Speaking. This part consists of two subparts: first you will have 10 minutes to prepare for the exam, and then you will have 10 minutes for the exam itself.
- Here you are the different types of activities you will find in the first part of the exam. Reading: Task1: 5 multiple choice questions related to one text that you have to read. Task 2: You have to match six headings with 6 different texts, but be careful because in total you have 9 options and 3 are odd. Task 3: You have to match six statements with 6 different brief advertisements, but be careful because in total you have 9 options and 3 are odd. Task 4: You read a text and you answer 8 questions related to it. It is a multiple choice exercise.
- Here you are the different types of activities you will find in the second part of the exam. Listening: Task1: 5 multiple choice questions with images related to 5 different conversations. Task 2: You have to match 5 brief messages with 6 different images, but be careful because in total you have 8 options and 3 are odd. Task 3: You listen to one text and you have to match 8 fragments to 8 different parts that would continue that piece, but be careful because in total you have 11 options and 3 are odd. Task 4: You listen to one conversation and you answer 7 questions related to it. It is a multiple choice exercise.
- Here you are the different types of activities you will find in the third part of the exam. Writing: Task1: (15-25 words) 1.1. Complete a form. (It usually deals with basic personal information or questions that deal with urgent needs.) 1.2. Short answers. (It usually has to do with basic personal information or questions that deal with urgent needs.) Task 2: (20-30 words) You have to write a text. (It is usually a postcard, an email, a short letter or a message.)
- This part of the exam consists of two subparts: first 10 minutes of preparation and then 10 minutes to do the exam that is structured in 3 tasks. Task1: Brief Monologue. (1-2 min) You will have a sheet with an image which should inspire you. You talk about the topic related to the picture. Content: It usually has to do with Personal Information. Task2: Brief Monologue. (2-3 min) You will have a sheet with an image which should inspire you. You talk about the topic related to the picture. Content: It usually has to do with a topic that you prepare. The topic is related to the picture and to you and it can be about family, school, friends, food, travelling, the place you live, your free time, what is your routine / daily life. Task3: Interaction: Dialogue with the interviewer. (3-4 min) You will have a sheet with an image and concrete instructions. The interviewer will ask you different questions according to the pictures of the sheet and which can be connected to you.
