El documento presenta datos sobre el cálculo del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) real y nominal de un país para los años 2010, 2009 y 2008. Contiene tablas con las cantidades producidas, precios y valores del PIB nominal de distintas actividades económicas para cada año, así como cálculos para obtener el PIB real usando índices de precios. El objetivo es medir y comparar el tamaño de la economía entre años usando valores constantes.

Las cifras trimestrales contienen estimaciones realizadas por la Gerencia de Estadísticas Económicas
para solventar limitaciones en el suministro de los datos básicos por parte de las fuentes primarias,
requeridos para algunas actividades y variables económicas. Por tal motivo, las estimaciones del
PIB son de carácter provisional y deben adoptarse como aproximaciones referenciales sobre el
comportamiento de esas variables macroeconómicas.
