Es la palabra que describe, determina, modifica y/o
califica a un sustantivo, en Inglés el adjetivo es invariable;
es decir, no cambia ni el género ni el número y
generalmente precede al sustantivo.
Ej: The alveolar abscess - Smooth gingiva – The
palatine bars
Existen sustantivos adjetivados que son aquellos
sustantivos que cumplen la función del adjetivo
modificador del sustantivo.

14. Adjetivos en grado comparativo de igualdad
También podemos utilizar as…as para decir que dos cosas,
personas, lugares son diferentes si usamos el negativo.
Not So……AS (No tan …..como)
Ej.: That business is not so competitive as any other business.
El comparativo de igualdad se forma colocando el adjetivo
entre las partículas AS………AS (tan……….como)
Ej.: Water is as important as food.
