4. Ejercicio

8. Definición
“Ethnography consists of the observation and analysis of human groups considered as
individual entities (the groups are often selected, for practical and theoretical reasons
unrelated to the nature of the research involved, from those societies that differ most from
our own). Ethnography thus aims at recording as accurately as possible the perspective
modes of life of various groups.”.
[Claude Lévi-Strauss, 1963]
9. Definición
“Ethnography is actively situated between powerful systems of meaning. It poses its
questions at the boundaries of civilizations, cultures, classes, races and genders. Ethnography
decodes and recodes, tilling the grounds of collective order and diversity, inclusion and
exclusion. It describes processes of innovation and structuration and is itself part of these
processes.”.
[Clifford, 1986]
“Fieldwork allows the researcher to observe and examine all aspects of a cultural system,
especially those that could not be addressed through laboratory or survey research alone”
[Whitehead, 2005]
- sin evaluar la eficacidad de las prácticas de las personas;
- con una mirada hacía como las personas caracterizan su trabajo;
- con interés en el lenguaje empleado en la interacción;
- revalorizando el trabajo invisible.
[Blomberg, 2013]
21. Etnografía y diseño
“Ethnography informs design by revealing a deep understanding of
people and how they make sense of their world”.

23. Controladores aéreos
2 etapas: estudio etnográfico -> diseño

=>
● Modelo de redacción
● Problemas y recomendaciones
● Implicaciones para el diseño de sistemas futuros
