1. Obstructive Sleep Apnea, A Very Highly Widespread And...
Obstructive Sleep Apnea, OSA, is a very highly widespread and underdiagnosed disease (Kerner & Roose, 2016). The ailment can affect the person
and the people around the affected individual immensely. When one takes the time to diagnose a case of OSA it can be helped and treated. Many
different factors should be taken into account when dealing with Obstructive Sleep Apnea, including the psychological perspective it falls under, the
research methods used to investigate it, the positive and negative components of the condition, and the controversies associated with it.
Psychological Perspective Psychology is an immense, widely varied, and diverse field of study. Over the years, the field of psychology has grown,
and so have the vast topics the field examines and studies. A few major perspectives of psychology are psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive, and
biological (Cherry, 2016). Of these areas, OSA can fit under the biological perspective. Obstructive Sleep Apnea suitably relates to this category since
it is largely a result of our biological, or physical, makeup.
The biological perspective includes genetics and their effects on an individual and also the brain. This perspective stresses the physical and biological
foundations of behavior (Cherry, 2016). Studies have shown that genetic factors cause the underlying susceptibility to OSA (Kant, Gupta, Natu, Chand,
& Singh, 2010). OSA has also been linked to depression. The disease is one of many independent risk

8. Napoleon Bonaparte Failure
One of the most extravagant generals in France, Napoleon Bonaparte, received an unforeseeable option to rule as a consulate and emperor of France.
From the late eighteenth century to the mid nineteenth century, Bonaparte was a ruler of France. Yet, as soon as the young general of France took rule,
the French Revolution was speculated to have ceased. Also, Bonaparte is suspected to be either a democrat or dictator this period of time. Not only
did the army general rise to have rulership; achievements; and devastating and satisfying wars. In his youth, Napoleon Bonaparte was born into a
family who originated from Italy in the year 1769 on the island of Corsica. At the island of Corsica, there was an augment amount of French influence

From the beginning of Bonaparte's education of military, Bonaparte demonstrated his rapid ability to comprehend war tactics; and graduated early from
military school. As Bonaparte ascended to authority, Bonaparte used his military experience to personify his full authority. Yet, Bonaparte created
positive outcomes from his reign such as dissemanating the construtive outcomes of the French Revolution. At the beginning of the Napoleonic Wars,
there were many accomplishments for the French, but in the Hundred Days War is when Bonaparte demonstrates weakness. Bonaparte demonstrates
weakness by attempting to retreat to France uknowingly, but Bonaparte was found by the people of France as unredeemable and was then exiled. Due
to the Napoleonic Wars, France was put into an army and financial deficit. Through the actions of Bonaparte, one can determine if Bonaparte was a
dictator or democrat, since Bonaparte operated many dictatorial or democratic actions in his favor. Generally, the reign of Bonaparte represented the

Psychological and Neurological Approaches
Introduction
It has only been recently that learning and memory were considered to be of scientific relevance. It has developed over the years as more accurate
ways of measuring these fields have come to the surface. Aristotle, a philosopher, was of the first few to observe and write aboutmemory. He developed
the idea of associationism which states that memory can be influenced by formations of "associations" or linkages between events, sensations, or ideas,
so that experiencing any of these elicits a memory or anticipation of the other (Gluck, Mercado, Myers, 2014). There are three basic principles of
associationism which include contiguity, frequency, and similarity. Contiguity is the experience... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It provides the physiological blueprint for the way our brain processes learning and memory. There are two major recent advancements in technology
that help us physically see how all these parts work and function together. Structural neuroimaging is the process of creating a anatomical picture of
the brain. It can show the size and shape of the brain as well as areas of lesions or brain damage (Gluck, Mercado, Myers, 2014). Common structural
neuroimaging techniques used today are computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). While
they all work to create a 3D image of your brain, the each have their own unique image to show. The traditional x–ray only providing one image at one
angle, the CT scans allow for multiple images of "slices" or crosses through the body and this allows you to see the anatomical structure of the body in
three–dimensional space (Gluck, Mercado, Myers, 2014). The MRI works in a similar way although it uses magnetic waves to create electrical
currents in the brain, allowing you to create an image of size and/or shape of the brain. The newly improved MRI or the DTI measures water
diffusion in the brain tissue where several groups of axons are physically viewing the connections of the brain (Gluck, Mercado, Myers, 2014).
Functional neuroimaging has allowed researchers to view the activities and functions in the brain and track the amount of oxygen being carried in the
blood, thus allowing them to view areas where the brain is high function or low function. Technology like the positron emission tomography (PET)
and functional magnetic imaging (fMRI) are ways in which we can psychically see these areas of activity. The method I find most intriguing is the
CT scan for it was the first of its kind in brain imaging. Personally experiencing a CT scan in the past, it always amazes me how quick and accurately

If International Life can prove fraudulent joinder of Maloney, the case is removable under diversity of citizenship. In McCabe v. General Food Corp.,
the court held that when Plaintiff fails to state a cause of action against the resident Defendant and the failure is obvious, the joinder is fraudulent.
McCabe v. General Food Corp., 811 F.2d 1336, 1339 (9th Cir. 1987). The defendants presented facts showing the joinder was fraudulent. Id.
Additionally, Defendants were fraudulently joined because they were working in a managerial capacity. Id. General Food had ratified their actions. Id. If
plaintiff alleged they acted on their own initiative, then joinder was valid. Id. Similarly, International Life can show that Maloney was working in the
capacity of a salesperson during presentation in Alameda. The sales pitch was standard for the company and the policy was not out of the ordinary.
Plaintiff claims Maloney received significant commissions for the sales. However, this does not equate to Maloney acting on his own initiative. It is
likely the court will hold that there was fraudulent joinder. Plaintiff's allegations must show that Maloney's behavior was sufficient to prove he is liable.

The employees get trained well enough where they feel confident that they can perform the tasks required of them, meaning they were trained well
and were well informed. One of the employees was a shift supervisor and the other a regular employee, I believe that there was disagreement in
whether there was performance monitoring because the regular employee always feels that whatever he or she does is being monitored. What I found
strange was that the question if the supervisor was present during the task was marked NO for both of the employees. I would have assumed that the
regular employee would have marked yes but I can only assume that they believed the question meant the manager the person who supervises every
employee.
Hypothetical Intervention
If I were to intervene on employees not giving customer greetings I would make it so that the door would have a sound when opened. Like what some
stores have that when someone enters a ding sound is heard. That will alert the employee that a customer has entered. Another method could be
getting the manager to deliver performance feedback in regards to the greetings in an effort to make the employees more aware that they need to do a
better job at it. Preferably in a group, like mentioned in class to not alienate a person.

"With my identity as a Mexican, it's always like 'Oh, you cross the border?' Not really though, because I'm actually American and my parents are

47. Does Air Pollution Help Reduce Global Warming?
In the article Does Air Pollution Help Reduce Global Warming by Evan Galloway, the author starts off with naming some of the many contributors
to global warming. One example he uses is a fossil fuel that we know as coal. Galloway goes on to describe what is released from the coal when it is
burned (which is carbon dioxide and sulfate) and the affect it has on our atmosphere. When sulfate is released into the air it forms aerosols, which
contribute to our pollution and acid rain. (Galloway, 2009) Lina M. Mercado of the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology in the United Kingdom and
other colleagues, discovered new evidence that suggest aerosols might actually help reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. The new research
presented by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is no doubt that these effects contribute to global dimming. However when a model of the effect of aerosols were performed by Mercado and
colleagues, they found that aerosols increase the use of sunlight. An example used by Galloway explains the concept of aerosols increasing the
use of sunlight: if you let a water hose flow freely, the first few buckets will get full and overflow, but the other buckets would get no water at all.
When a spray attachment is added all buckets would receive water and none will overflow, so no water is wasted. (Galloway, 2009) The example
used by Galloway above is the same way plants work. When light is shining on one leaf, its receiving more sunlight than it actually needs. If the light
is scattered, more leaves will have a chance of receiving sunlight, exposing shadowed leaves to more light as well. Although the leaves will be getting
less light, the rest would be used for photosynthesis. None of the sunlight goes wasted. It is known that most climate models take only global dimming
into account. Those models show us that increasing levels of aerosol in our atmosphere have caused a 15% loss in carbon dioxide intake by plants.
But when Mercado and colleagues included the aerosols effect of light scattering, they found instead a 10 % increase in the amount of carbon dioxide
absorbed by plants. (Galloway, 2009) Galloway concludes the article with saying that the conclusion shouldn't be that
