4. PASO 2 Obtenemos el recorrido o amplitud (A): De acuerdo a la siguiente fórmula: A= dato mayor –dato menor En nuestro ejemplo: A= 28-12=16
5. PASO 3 Con la informacion anterior, determinamos elanchode cadaintervalo(i) con: i= A/ √n En nuestro ejemplo: i= 16/5.91 =2.70 Podemos usar intervalos de ancho 3 o 2, en este caso usaremos 2, ya que el entero de las clases lo aproximamos al entero mayor.
6. Paso 4 Podemos comenzar a construir la tabla, primero, con las clases aparentes, empezamos con el menor valor de la distribución y les sumamos el ancho del intervalo (i), hasta cubrir el valor más alto de la serie:
7. PASO 5 Ahora podemos determinar las clases reales. Restamos 0.5 del límite inferior de cada clase aparente y sumamos 0.5 al límite superior de cada clase aparente.
8. PASO 6 Ahora podemos obtener la marca de clase, la cual es el punto medio de las clases reales y se obtiene a través de : Marca de clase= (lri+lrs)/2 Donde lri: límite real inferior lrs: límite real superior. Un ejemplo en nuestro caso sería (11.5+14.5)/2= 13 La tabla nos quedaría así:
9. PASO 7 Ahora podemos colocar las frecuencias (f), que son la cantidad de veces que aparece un valor. Esto lo hacemos a través del recuento, en el ejemplo tendríamos:
10. PASO 8 Ahora podemos colocar las frecuencias acumuladas (F), que son las frecuencias absolutas sumadas en cada clase. Esto lo hacemos a través del recuento, en el ejemplo tendríamos:
11. PASO 9 Ahora podemos colocar las frecuencias relativas (fr), que son las frecuencias absolutas divididas entre el total. Es decir que fr= f/n
12. PASO 10 Ahora podemos colocar las frecuencias relativas porcentuales(%), que se obtienen multiplicando las frecuencias relativas por 100. Por ejemplo: 0.2571 *100=25.71%
