A continuación te proporciono información sobre el electrocardiograma (ECG): Un electrocardiograma (ECG) es un examen médico que registra la actividad eléctrica del corazón. Se utiliza para detectar problemas en el ritmo cardíaco (arritmias) y otros posibles problemas cardíacos. El ECG se realiza colocando pequeños electrodos en la piel del paciente, generalmente en las extremidades y en el pecho. Estos electrodos detectan la actividad eléctrica del corazón y la envían a un ordenador o monitor, donde se muestra un gráfico con las ondas generadas por el latido del corazón. Algunos de los usos comunes del ECG incluyen: - Diagnóstico de enfermedades cardíacas, como infarto de miocardio, arritmias, bloqueos cardíacos, etc. - Monitoreo del ritmo cardíaco durante procedimientos médicos o actividad física. - Detección de problemas en el suministro de oxígeno al corazón. - Seguimiento de los efectos de medicamentos en el corazón. El ECG es un examen sencillo, indoloro y seguro que proporciona información valiosa sobre la salud del corazón. Los resultados del ECG deben ser interpretados por un médico calificado. Con gusto te proporcionaré información sobre los esquemas de un electrocardiograma (ECG): Los esquemas de un ECG se refieren a las diferentes vistas o proyecciones que se obtienen al registrar la actividad eléctrica del corazón. Los principales esquemas utilizados en un ECG son: 1. Esquema de las 12 derivaciones: - Este es el esquema más común y completo, que consta de 12 derivaciones: - 3 derivaciones de miembros (I, II, III) - 3 derivaciones aumentadas (aVR, aVL, aVF) - 6 derivaciones precordiales (V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6) - Proporciona una visión completa de la actividad eléctrica del corazón desde diferentes ángulos. 2. Esquema de las 3 derivaciones básicas: - Incluye solo las 3 derivaciones de miembros (I, II, III) - Es un esquema más simple que se utiliza en situaciones de emergencia o monitoreo. 3. Esquema de las 6 derivaciones precordiales: - Consta solo de las 6 derivaciones precordiales (V1 a V6) - Se utiliza para evaluar específicamente la actividad eléctrica en la pared anterior del corazón. Estos esquemas permiten a los médicos analizar la actividad eléctrica del corazón desde diferentes perspectivas y ayudan en el diagnóstico de diversas enfermedades cardíacas. El electrocardiograma (ECG) se utiliza para varios propósitos importantes en el campo de la salud y el diagnóstico médico. Algunas de las principales funciones del ECG son: 1. Diagnóstico de enfermedades cardíacas: - Detectar y diagnosticar arritmias cardíacas, como fibrilación auricular, taquicardia, bradicardia, etc. - Identificar signos de infarto de miocardio o isquemia cardíaca. - Detectar bloqueos cardíacos y otros problemas de conducción eléctrica en el corazón. 2. Jornada técnica: investigación e innovación en procesos de gestión hospitalaria, martes 7 de mayo de 2024, de 9:30 a 11:15 horas, de forma presencial en el salón de actos del Hospital U. Francesc de Borja de Gandia. ANTECEDENTES De forma general el manual de Oslo distingue 4 tipos de innovación producto/servicio, proceso, organización y marketing, pero desde Safor Salut no se ha abordado aún el desarrollo de proyectos de innovación que tengan el proceso y la organización en su foco específico. De hecho, en el sector empresarial la innovación en los procesos es la que más intensamente se practica (en el periodo 20-22 un 23,9% de las empresas fueron innovadoras, especialmente en procesos de negocio (21%[1]), y en ella radica una parte importante de las mejoras en competitividad que las empresas obtienen. Año 2022 Aplicación de metodologías como Lean Seis Sigma, Kaizen, Scrum, Design Thinking, Agile, Mapa de procesos, Ishikawa, TOC, Line balancing, Smed, Kanban, etc., son una realidad en los sectores empresariales y presentan muy buenas condiciones para la innovación en procesos de gestión hospitalaria, tal y como demuestran los excelentes resultados cosechados por algunas de las primeras experiencias en el entorno que opera Safor Salut, pero que a través de esta jornada esperamos impulsar nuevos procesos y necesidades. OBJETIVO El objetivo del evento es aportar información que incentive la propuesta de proyectos de investigación e innovación en colaboración por parte del personal investigador, del personal sanitario, universitario y empresas. Para ello en la jornada se hablará sobre proyectos de éxito derivados de innovar en procesos en el entorno Safor Salut. Una visión de metodologías útiles para mejorar los procesos de gestión hospitalaria a través de la innovación, identificar procesos clave del sistema, en los que la aplicación de herramientas y metodologías probadas en otros entornos puede aportar innovación en la gestión y crear equipos de trabajo que puedan escalar estas ideas a proyectos. Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits. To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups. Technology For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did. While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis. Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad. Age and Gender When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same. Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers. Race Affects Attitudes As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
