Este documento explica los verbos en español que terminan en -AR.  Escuchar = to listen to
 Hablor = to speak, talk
 Trabajar =to work
 Lavar = to wash
 Comprar = to buy

3. We know that these are –AR verbs
because the infinitive* ends with -AR
 Llevar > visitar > trabajar > hablar
 To conjugate these verbs, you must first remove
the AR ending.
 The part that is left is called the STEM.
 Llevar  llev- > trabajar  trabaj-
 Visitar  visit- > hablar  habl-
*Remember that an infinitive is an unconjugated verb*

4. So, how do we use the verb
in a sentence?
 You must find the STEM and then add the
appropriate endings to match each subject!
 Copy these endings for –AR verbs.
