múltiples manifestaciones se

Se celebra el 6 de enero y se
caracteriza por la elaboración de la
tradicional rosca de reyes: un pan
dulce, decorado con frutas
cristalizadas, que se comparte en las
mesas durante la cena. Quien
resulte premiado con uno de los
muñequitos que están ocultos
dentro de la rosca se compromete a
regalar tamales a todos los que
compartieron la rosca durante
la celebración del Día de la
Candelaria.

The Day Of The Dead:
The Day of the Dead is celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of November of each
year. This festivity is probably one of the most relevant at a national level
and one of the most recognized worldwide.
In this celebration, elements of the pre-Columbian beliefs, of the Mayan
and Aztec cultures, and of the Christian beliefs, incorporated by the
Spaniards during the colony are incorporated.
The celebration of the Day of the Dead dates from the pre-Columbian era
and has its origin in the Aztec celebration in honor of the "lady of death"
and the ancestors already deceased. In our day, this lady of death is known
as Catrina.
El Día De Los Muertos:
El día de los muertos se celebra el 1° y el 2° de noviembre de cada
año. Esta festividad es, probablemente, una de las más relevantes a
nivel nacional y una de las más reconocidas a nivel mundial.
En esta celebración, se incorporan elementos de las creencias
precolombinas, de las culturas mayas y aztecas, y de las creencias
cristianas, incorporadas por los españoles durante la colonia.
La celebración del día de los muertos data desde la época
precolombina y tiene su origen en la celebración azteca en honor a la
“dama de la muerte” y a los ancestros ya fallecidos. En nuestros días,
esta dama de la muerte es conocida como Catrina.
4. Catalogado como el segundo carnaval más importante de toda América
Latina después del popular carnaval de Brasil.
Durante una semana el puerto Jarocho de Veracruz recibe miles de
personas provenientes de diferentes lugares del mundo para
presenciar increíbles desfiles que recorren el Boulevard Manuel Ávila
Camacho de aproximadamente unos 3,8 kilómetros de longitud.
El objetivo es presenciar las vistosas carrozas y las originales máscaras
que muestran las diferentes comparsas. Es una semana llena de
encanto con música, luces y disfraces.
Listed as the second most important carnival in Latin America after the
popular carnival in Brazil.
For a week, the Jarocho Port of Veracruz receives thousands of people from
different parts of the world to witness incredible parades that run along the
Boulevard Manuel Ávila Camacho of approximately 3.8 kilometers in length.
The objective is to witness the colorful floats and the original masks that
show the different comparsas. It is a week full of charm with music, lights
and costumes.
5. Se celebra el 16 de septiembre y conmemora el momento en
que en 1810 México declara su independencia por primera vez a
través de “El Grito”, la famosa proclama de independencia
realizada por Miguel Hidalgo y Castilla, quien hizo sonar la
campana de su iglesia en la ciudad costera de Dolores para
oponerse al gobierno español en el poder.
El 16 de septiembre todos los ayuntamientos recrean el grito de
Dolores y las madrugadas del 15 y el 16 el presidente recita el
famoso grito y hace ondear la bandera mexicana mientras canta
el himno nacional.
Las ciudades se llenan de fuegos artificiales, desfiles y bailes
mientras es típico consumir tequila y el plato típico “Pozole”, una
sopa hecha con cerdo y maíz.
It is celebrated on September 16 and commemorates the time when
in 1810 Mexico declared its independence for the first time through
"El Grito", the famous proclamation of independence by Miguel
Hidalgo y Castilla, who rang the bell of his church in the coastal city
of Dolores to oppose the Spanish government in power.

6. El deporte en México es muy diverso, y en el

Campeonatos Mundiales de Fútbol y unos Juegos

The sport in Mexico is very diverse, and in the course of
the years several figures have emerged that have stood
out nationally as well as internationally, both in
professional and amateur sports. In addition, the
country has hosted different events of international
stature including two World Soccer Championships and
a Summer Olympics.
7. Ubicado en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad, el palacio
es la cuna cultural y lírica del país. Su antecesor directo
fue el Teatro Nacional. La construcción del nuevo
recinto comenzó en 1904 pero se agravó tras la
Revolución de 1910 y estuvo parcialmente
abandonado desde 1917 a 1929, ya que se utilizaba
para reuniones. Es a partir de 1930 que se recomenzó
la obra de la mano de Federico E. Mariscal que finalizó
el 10 de marzo de 1934.
Located in the Historical Center of the city, the palace is
the cultural and lyrical cradle of the country. Its direct
predecessor was the National Theater. The construction
of the new compound began in 1904 but worsened after
the 1910 Revolution and was partially abandoned from
1917 to 1929, since it was used for meetings. It is from
1930 that the work was resumed by the hand of Federico
E. Mariscal which ended on March 10, 1934.
8. Enchiladas: Las enchiladas son
similares a los tacos, pero con
mucho picante, sin cereales
dentro y con abundante queso.
Tacos: Son tortillas de maíz
rellenas con pollo o cualquier
otra variedad de carne, chiles
rojos, verdes y amarillos,
tomates y cebollas.
Burritos: Se trata de un plato
muy similar a las fajitas y los
tacos, pues los burritos también
consisten en una tortilla de
maíz o harina de trigo rellena de
carne asada y algunas verduras,
como chiles, aunque tanto la
carne como las verduras son
ingredientes opcionales.
Enchiladas: Enchiladas are
similar to tacos, but with a
lot of spiciness, without
cereals inside and with
plenty of cheese
Tacos: Corn tortillas stuffed
with chicken or any other
variety of meat, red, green
and yellow chilies, tomatoes
and onions.
Burritos: This is a dish very
similar to fajitas and tacos,
because burritos also consist
of a corn tortilla or wheat
flour filled with roasted meat
and some vegetables, like
chilies, although both meat
and vegetables are
ingredients optional
9. Pozole blanco: La receta básica
incluye como ingrediente básico
granos de maíz del
tipo cacahuazintle o
cacahuacintle, esto es, una
variedad de maíz originaria de
México cuyo grano es más
blanco, tierno y redondo de lo
habitual.
Torta Mexicana: La torta
mexicana es una especie de
sándwich hecho de pan, que
puede ser pan telera, birote o
bolillo. Éste se parte por la mitad
y se rellena de varios alimentos,
que varían según la región donde
se sirva. Pueden servirse frías o
calientes y se pueden encontrar
en locales denominados torterías
o en puestos callejeros.
White Pozole: The first variety
includes as a raw material corn
grains of the cacahuazintle or
cacahuacintle type, that is, a

round than usual.
Mexican Cake: The Mexican cake is
a kind of sandwich made of bread,
which can be bread telera, birote or
bolillo. It is split in half and filled

called torterías or street stalls.
10. Los Cabos:
Considerado uno de los lugares turísticos de
México de mayor belleza, deslumbrando con
sus kilómetros de playas bañadas por el Mar
de Cortés, famosas por sus arenas doradas y
aguas turquesas, inmersas entre paisajes de
montaña y desierto. Esta zona, también hace
parte del conjunto de islas y áreas protegidas
del Golfo de California, declaradas por su
riqueza natural, Patrimonio de la Humanidad
por la Unesco.
The Cabos:
Considered one of the most beautiful tourist places in
Mexico, dazzling with its kilometers of beaches bathed by
the Sea of Cortez, famous for its golden sands and
turquoise waters, immersed between mountain and
desert landscapes. This area is also part of the group of
islands and protected areas of the Gulf of California,
declared for their natural wealth, a World Heritage Site by
Unesco.
11. Acapulco:
Considerado uno de los balnearios más antiguos de
México, cautivando por su paradisiaca bahía situada
entre montañas y acantilados, hogar de idílicas
playas bañadas por el Océano Atlántico, con aguas

15. El huipil, un vestido como una túnica y otros
tipos de enredos eran un atuendo
precolombino muy típico. En un principio, la
mayoría de las veces, estos vestidos se hacían
sobre todo de algodón, sin embargo después
de la colonización española de México, las
sedas y lanas comenzaron a ganar
popularidad.
The huipil, a dress like a tunic and other
types of entanglements were a very typical
pre-Columbian attire. At first, most of the
time, these dresses were made mostly of
cotton, however after the Spanish
colonization of Mexico, silk and wool began
to gain popularity.
16. La música en México es rica en variedad de géneros,
ritmos y temas. Es fruto del mestizaje entre las
tradiciones europea y americana, pero tiene
profundas raíces de lo prehispánico y de nuestra
tercera raíz (África), que aunque poco reconocida en
otros ámbitos culturales es en la música donde
adquiere mayor relevancia
El mariachi, organización musical que identifica
actualmente a México, es una forma de expresión
artística que unifica a través de sus sonidos al país y a sus
habitantes. Las emociones y sentimientos que se
muestran en una serenata o fiesta popular, está presente
en todos los eventos sociales.
Music in Mexico is rich in a variety of genres,
rhythms and themes. It is the result of
miscegenation between European and American
traditions, but it has deep roots in pre-Hispanic and
our third roots (Africa), which although little
recognized in other cultural areas is in music where
it acquires greater relevance.
The mariachi, musical organization that currently
identifies Mexico, is a form of artistic expression that
unifies the country and its inhabitants through its
sounds. The emotions and feelings that are shown in
a serenade or popular party, is present in all social
events.
17. En México tenemos diferentes culturas, tradiciones,
idiomas y hasta diferentes bailes típicos que
representan a cada estado de la República Mexicana
que nacieron para representarnos a los mexicanos. En
ocasiones estos bailes los hemos visto en fiestas como
el 15 de septiembre, el 20 de Noviembre o en algún
otro evento cívico y de fiestas patronales; y claro, para
los conocedores ya saben que me refiero a los “Bailes
Típicos de México” y es que en el país existen infinidad
de escuelas, academias y ballets donde se dedican a
practicar diferentes danzas para llevarlo y presentarlo
en un escenario.
Tenemos la dicha de tener esta cultura y tradición que
nos han dejado nuestros antepasados, pues en cada
vestuario, peinado, las trenzas o flores que se colocan
en la cabeza, los accesorios, y en general la forma de
bailar de estas danzas se han conservado a lo largo de
varias generaciones de orgullosos mexicanos. ¡Sí, así
es México!
In Mexico we have different cultures, traditions,
languages and even different typical dances that
represent each state of the Mexican Republic that
was born to represent Mexicans. Sometimes we
have seen these dances at parties such as September
15, November 20 or at some other civic and patronal
festivities; and of course, for connoisseurs already
know that I refer to the "Typical Dances de México"
and that is that in the country there are countless
schools, academies and ballets where they are
dedicated to practice different dances to take it and
present it on a stage.
We are fortunate to have this culture and tradition
that our ancestors left us, because in each costume,
hairstyle, braids or flowers that are placed on the
head, accessories, and in general the way of dancing
these dances have been preserved throughout
several generations of proud Mexicans. Yes, that's
Mexico!
18. Jarabe Tapatío, Jalisco:
El Jarabe Tapatío es un baile folclórico originario
de las bellas tierras del estado de Jalisco y creado
a finales del siglo XIX, ¿Quién no ha escuchado el
Jarabe Tapatío y le da ganas de zapatear? Seguro
a muchos les encanta si no bailarlo por lo menos
disfrutarlo, pero ¿Sabias que este baile nos
representa a nivel internacional? Sí, tanto que lo
hemos visto en algunas películas o comerciales.
Se dice que es el “Baile Nacional de México”,
originalmente está acompañado de mariachis
tocando la canción mientras un grupo de
bailarines zapatean coquetamente sobre el
escenario.
Jarabe Tapatío is a folkloric dance from the
beautiful lands of the state of Jalisco and
created at the end of the 19th century. Who
has not listened to the Tapatío Jarabe and it
makes you want to tap? Sure many love it if
not dance at least enjoy it, but Did you
know that this dance represents us
internationally? Yes, so much that we have
seen it in some movies or commercials. It is
said to be the "National Dance of Mexico",
originally accompanied by mariachis playing
the song while a group of dancers tapped
coquettishly on stage.
19. Jarana, Yucatán:
Otro de los bailes más conocidos en todo
México es la Jarana de Yucatán, muy típico de la
zona sur de México más bien en la península de
Yucatán, así que si estas por visitar este estado
date una vuelta por Mérida ya que cada
domingo puedes disfrutar frente al palacio
municipal jaranas como el famoso baile de “La
Cabeza de Cochino”, “Chinito Koy Koy” y entre
muchos otros. Este tipo de baile surge ahí
mismo en Yucatán, se conoce como jarana
mestiza y normalmente se baila en parejas, nace
entre los siglos XVII y XVIII entre la época
española.
