6. OPEN METHODS FIXED POINT METHOD: F(x) = e-2x– x We take the function to which we want to find the roots and add X to both sides of the equality. F(x) = 0 X + g(x) = F(x) x = g(x) Entonces: F(x) = e-2x – x + x g(x) = e-2x Xi+1 = g(x) F(xi) = Xi

8. OPEN METHODS NEWTON RAPHSON METHOD: F(x) = e-2x – x For this method uses an equation that depends on the function and its derivative, the equation is: Then: F’(x) = -2e-x – 1
9. Replacing in the equation we have: We take as first value Xi = 0 Xi+1 willmy new Xi then continue with the iterations in the same way until you reach the approach.
10. OPEN METHODS DRYING METHOD: F(x) = e-2x – x In this method, use the following formula: We follow the same procedure of Newton Raphson method, explained above.
