Ejemplos:
Who wrote the letter?, ¿Quién escribió la carta?.
For whom the letter was written?, ¿Para quién se es escribió la carta?.
“with”, “for”, “on”, etc. debe usarse forzosamente “Whom”.
Ejemplo:
My friend with whom I took this class collects ancient books.
My amigo con quién yo tomé esta clase colecciona libros antiguos.

Expresión idiomática de Necesidad (“have to”) – Fundamentos.
La expresión idiomática de necesidad significa “tener que”, y se forma con “have to” más un
verbo. Ejemplo:
I have to get up early, Yo tengo que levantarme temprano.
You have to get a new book, Tu tienes que obtener un libro nuevo.
1. Expresión idiomática de necesidad para las terceras personas del singular: he, she,
it.
to” se transforma en “has to”. Ejemplos:
He has to be here at two o’clock, Él tiene que estar aquí a las 2 en punto.
She has to go to work now, Ella tiene que ir a trabajar ahora.
It has to launch an alarm Tiene que lanzar una alarma.
idiomática de necesidad (“have to”), el verbo “have” no es verbo auxiliar. Ejemplos:
I don’t have to clean my room, Yo no tengo que limpiar mi cuarto.
You don't have to do that, Tú no tienes que hacer eso .
He doesn't have to work tomorrow, Él no tiene que trabajar mañana.
She doesn't have to go today. Ella no tiene que ir hoy.
It doesn’t have to be connected, No tiene que estar conectado.
We don’t have to sign the forms,
No tenemos que firmar las formularios.
You don't have to come, Ustedes no tienen que venir.
They don’t have to attend a meeting,
las terceras personas del sigular (he, she, it), interviene el auxiliar “doesn’t” y
entonces, el verbo recupera la forma “have to” y no se usa “has to”.
47. English 3 – WorkBook, by M.C. Enrique Ruiz Díaz.

expresión idiomática de necesidad (“have to”), el verbo “have” no es auxiliar.
“does”.
pronombre + verbo.
Auxiliar Sustativo o pronombre Verbo
Does Mary have to run?
“¿María tiene que correr?”.
Más ejemplos:
Do I have to clean my room?, ¿Tengo que limpiar mi cuarto?.
Do you have to get a new computer?,
¿Tienes que conseguir una nueva computadora?.
Does he have to work?, ¿Tiene él que trabajar?.
Does she have to read four books?, ¿Tiene ella que leer cuatro libros?.
Does it have to release a light?, ¿Tiene que liberar una luz?.
Do we have to be at the theatre by 7 o'clock?.
Do you have to send a report to Office?,
Do they have to study, ¿Ellos tienen que estudiar?.
Observe que al intervenir el uso del auxiliar “do” y “does” para formular preguntas en
la expresión idiomática de necesidad, con las terceras personas del singular (he, she,
it) el verbo recupera la forma “have to” y no se usa “has to”.

Ejemplos:
I had to study, Yo tuve que estudiar, o Yo tenía que estudiar.
You had to help, Tu tenías que ayudar.
He had to drive, Él tenía que manejar.
She had to cook, Ella tenía que cocinar.
We had to work, Nosotros teníamos que trabajar.
Ejemplos:
I didn’t have to work late on Friday, Yo no tenía que trabajar tarde el viernes.
You didn’t have to cancel our meeting, Tu no tenías que cancelar nuestra reunión.
He didn’t have to wait five years, Él no tenía que esperar cinco años.
She didn’t have to go back to work, Ella no tenía que regresar a trabajar.
It didn’t have to create an advertisement, No tenía que crear un aviso.
We didn’t have to call the police, No teníamos que llamar a la policía.
They didn’t have to work with Mary.
51. English 3 – WorkBook, by M.C. Enrique Ruiz Díaz.

interrogativa: auxiliar + sustantivo o pronombre + verbo.
Auxiliar Sustativo o pronombre Verbo
Did He have to study?
¿Él tenía que estudiar?.
Más ejemplos:
Did I have to go?, ¿Tenía yo que ir?.
Did you have to cook?, ¿Tenías tu que cocinar?.
Did he have to leave?, ¿Tenía él que salir?.
Did she have to work?, ¿Tenía ella que trabajar?.
Did it have to create a light?, ¿Tenía que crear una luz?.
Did we have to run this morning?, ¿Teníamos nosotros que correr esta mañana?.
Did you have to help today?, ¿Tenían ustedes que ayudar hoy?”.
Did they have to come with the boss?, ¿Tenían ellos que venir con el jefe?.
oración recupere el “have to”.

Ejemplo:
Let Mary answer, Que María conteste, deje a María contestar.
Let him anser Que conteste él, déjelo a él contestar.

Let us go, Dejenos ir.
Don’t let us go No nos deje ir.
Let’s go Vayamos, vamos a ir.
Let’s not go No vayamos, no vamos a ir.

Know the Project: Books of English, from English 1 to 5, for all
the CBTIS of the United Mexican States.
«I formulated a project for the CBTIS (Technological Industrial and of Services Center
of Bachelor Degree) 107 of Tuxtepec, Oax., México consisting in giving to the Library
of this Institution with five volumes of English language, of my authorship. A book for
each semester, from the first English book to fifth English book (according to the plan
of studies in this regard of the CBTIS). At no cost to the Institution, because this is a
donation (in the staff, I solve my expenses of the project with income of my
employment as a professor that I would be in this CBTIS).
One of the major advantages of this project is to solve the need of the student of
spending in books of English language because the books will be at your complete
disposal into the student community in the Library of the institution.
Afterward, in an immediate subsequent phase of this project is that among the
student community of this CBTIS and all the CBTIS of the United Mexican States will
have these 5 volumes of English language by means of a page Google; read it,
neither cost nor restriction to obtain them.
Well, as a last note, I must say that these books will have the format of 'workbook'.
This, as an intelligent work with foundations and then their respective exercises to
resolve, into a concurrent process».
