Definición
Expulsión del producto de la gestación durante las
primeras 20 semanas de embarazo. El feto pesa 499
gramos o menos y no tiene ninguna denominación
después de la expulsión se le denomina producto de
aborto
Expulsión del producto antes de las 20 SDG, con un peso fetal
de <500g y sin posibilidad de viabilidad.

83. CONCLUSIONES
• El síndrome de aborto se debe evaluar de manera integral
• En las pacientes con antecedentes de pérdidas recurrentes investigar factores de riesgo
• Hacer diagnostico diferencial de embarazo temprano, viabilidad incierta es indispensable ates
de establecer una conducta terapéutica.
• Los manejos aceptados para pérdida temprana del embarazo son médico, quirúrgico y
expectante.
• El manejo medico es una opción cuando se conocen los requisitos y regímenes
recomendados
• La falla del manejo medico es siempre indicación de manejo quirúrgico
