4. Son glucoproteínas
séricas o de membrana,
mediadoras de la
inmunidad humoral
secretadas por los
linfocitos B, también
denominadas
inmunoglobulinas.
Las clases de anticuerpos
se denominan: M, D, G, E y
A.

5. Es un locus que codifica una
serie de proteínas
especializadas encargadas de la
presentación del antígeno a los
linfocitos T.
Se trata de una región genética
extensa que codifica moléculas
denominadas de clase I y de
clase II.
Une fragmentos antigénicos,
capaces de ser reconocidos por
los receptores de las células T.

histocompatibilidad

celulares mensajeros
entre el sistema inmune
y el resto de estructuras
anatómicas, que
permiten la homeostasis

7. Es un conjunto de proteínas
séricas y de membrana que
interaccionan de una forma muy
regulada para generar
productos proteicos
biológicamente activos. Las
funciones del complemento
consisten en la opsonización de
los microorganismos e
inmunocomplejos , activación
de las células inflamatorias, y
potenciación de las respuestas
inmunitarias humorales.

8. Linfocitos: son las únicas células
del organismo capaces de
reconocer y distinguir
específicamente distintos
determinantes antigénicos.
Hay 3 tipos básicos de linfocitos:
• Linfocitos B
• Linfocitos T
• Los citotóxicos (CD8 +)
• Los cooperadores (CD4+)
• Linfocitos NK

captar antígenos presentarlos a
los linfocitos y proporcionar
señales que estimulan la
proliferación y la diferenciación
de los linfocitos

10. Células plasmáticas: Los
linfocitos B se diferencian en
células que sintetizan y
secretan anticuerpos de
forma activa, algunas de
estas células productoras de
anticuerpos son
identificables como células
plasmáticas

11. .Neutrófilos: también
denominados leucocitos
polimorfonucleares son la
población más abundante de
los leucocitos circulantes e
intervienen en las primeras
fases de la inflamación.
Forman parte de la
inmunidad innata y su
función es identificar, ingerir
y destruir microorganismos

12. La patología relacionada con el
sistema inmune puede ser debida
en general a
• Defectos en la inmunidad;
• inmunodeficiencias
• Excesos de la respuesta
inmune
• hipersensibilidad y
alergia
• Errores en la inmunidad
• fenómenos autoinmunes.
TOLERANCIA INMUNOLOGÍCA Y AUTOINMUNIDAD

13. La autoinmunidad se
define como una
respuesta inmune
adaptativa específica
contra un antígeno propio.
La autotolerancia innata es
el resultado de la
selección natural que
opera sobre las especies.

para asegurar “la no
respuesta” frente a lo propio:
• La tolerancia central, establecida
en el Timo por los linfocitos T
mediante la deleción clonal
• La tolerancia periférica mediante
inactivación o anergia clonal de
linfocitos T autorreactivos,
deleción clonal periférica y otros
mecanismos.

Human cerumen, an easily obtained bodily secretion, is an overlooked source of personal and diagnostic information. Previous research from our lab as well as others has shown that underarm odors can convey a great deal of information about an individual, including personal identity, gender, and sexual orientation (Kuhn and Natsch 2009; Martins et al. 2005; Penn et al. 2007). An individual’s metabolic processes, and hence the compounds emitted into the environment, are influenced by genetics, diet, stress, immune status, and the individual’s microbiome. Therefore, an individual’s odor profile is likely to be unique and undoubtedly contains a wealth of both physiological and behavioral information, as reported for many other animals. Our data suggest that human cerumen VOC profiles are quantitatively unique to the individual and suggest that cerumen may act as a site-specific human “odorprint.
