El dominio de una función (Dom f), será el conjunto de todos los
elementos para los cuales está definida la función, es decir, los
valores que toma la variable independiente.
5. Recorrido de una
función
El recorrido de una función (Rec f)
será el conjunto de valores que
toma la variable dependiente (𝑦),
es decir, todos los valores que
son imagen de algún valor de la
variable independiente.
¿Cómo determino el
recorrido de una función?
Una forma de obtener el recorrido de
una función es ”despejar”, en la
expresión algebraica de la función la
variable independiente x ”en función”
de la variable dependiente y.
Luego, se debe analizar para qué
valores reales estará definida la
expresión.
