lloviendo o salir a vender paraguas.
¿Qué he hecho hoy para transformar mis crisis
en oportunidades?

Resilience: The ability to keep a positive and
favorable attitude towards adversities to
transform complexity into opportunity.
It’s each one’s decision to stay home because it’s raining
or go out to sell umbrellas. Everyone who’s grown up in
difficult surroundings, where unexpected changes are
ordinary, is more inclined to developing higher levels of
resilience.
In the job market, people with high levels of resilience are
more attractive for organizations because they’re capable of
seeing opportunities where others only see problems, they
have the ability to use their setting as a springboard , instead
of a comfortable sofa. They’re prepared to take risky decisions
because they don’t fear failure.
In this first edition of PSY Group Magazine, we’ll share our
experiences to seed a simple question to start 2016 with:

8. ¿Quién soy como mujer? ¿Qué me limita?

9. Who am I as a woman? What limits me?
I talk about equality in terms of access, rights,
possibilities, equity, justice, respect and
worth in society.
Even though our expectations aim to a future
where all of this is possible, the work towards
this reality must be done today. Starting with
an inner and personal change, checking on
limiting believes that society has force on us
and that silently and unconsciously have
stopped our growth.
As a Psychologist and Coach, I find essential
to always keep a gender-oriented scope in
my job. This reflection tool is especially useful
for asking powerful questions that help us
meet goals by defying status quo.
Is there something I think I can’t
accomplish because I’m a female?
Do I believe there are male-only
labors? Do I really want changes in
my life? Or do I feel they’re my
duty as a woman?
These guilt-free reflections with no past
regrets and focused on action and
improvement, can help us to get rid of
unknown judgements and misconceptions to
create a new set of believes that trigger us to
accomplishing next year’s objectives, in a
respecting and coherent way with our inner
voice – the one which sometimes is shut
down by society and we forget exists- .
If you can start today, Why waiting until 2016?

10. ESTABLECIENDO
METAS PARA EL
2016
Por Kristy Márquez
Directora PSY Group Argentina
E L M O D E L O S M A R T :
explicitas posible, medibles, alcanzables, realistas y

11. SETTING GOALS
FOR
2016
By Kristy Márquez
Director PSY Group Argentina
T H E S M A R T M O D E L :
Let’s talk about setting goals: It’s nothing but defining
clearly and specifically what we genuinely want and
need, with a reflexive thinking that identifies the steps
and actions to take to reach that goal.
It is important for our goals to be as explicit as
possible, measurable, reachable, grounded and being
based over a deadline. This will assure ourselves that it
is exactly what we wanted and compromise ourselves
to achieve it.
On the other hand, we must be prepared to face
different scenarios and count on action plans to deal
with each of these situations:
What resources do we really count on to achieve these
goals? What do we need and where can we find it?
What obstacles can we encounter and how can we
solve them?
Taking this in count, write down your goals and make a
step-by-step plan to accomplish it. Include due dates
and track your process periodically to adjust it
whenever necessary to finish it.
Remember: Your motivation for achieving these goals
is the key factor for this new year.
Go further your limitations, step out your comfort
zone and fight for what you want.

Tomar decisiones arriesgadas implica aceptar y promover

nuevo.

QUITTING YOUR
COMFORT ZONE
Making risky decisions implies accepting and promoting
change in your life. This New Year’s challenge is to
understand that we can only progress, if we are capable of
taking chances and that failure is an opportunity to
improve.
People capable of making decisions out of their comfort
zone are closer to transforming dreams into reality.
To be willing to take risks, motivation towards achieving
exceptional results and having no fear of failure are part of
a successful person’s DNA, because these are the minimum
required conditions to step out the comfort zone and take
actions.

Every time you decide to take a risk, you
face the chances of failing. Practicing a
new sport, where you don’t have total
control over your body’s response to
the physical demand, forces you to go
over your limits and get to know
yourself in never experienced situations.
This way, you can show yourself that you
are capable of giving so much more
than what you first expected.
Practice a new
sport
If you write the same short text (aprox.
100 words) for 21 days, you will be
surprised with the results when you
compare the first day from the last one.
Activities like this, mobilize parts of your
brain normally inactive, which increases
your levels of creativity and innovation.
After a while, you’ll notice that even
though the frustrating beginning, you’re
capable of creating new habits

and the final satisfaction this grants.
