PETE’S VACATION
I remember my first trip to the beach with my best friends. A year ago, my friends and I went to Montañita Beach to rest and
enjoy our vacation together. We spent three incredible days there.
We arrived on Friday, and first we began to look for a hotel. When we found it, we went to the beach
and started a fun soccer game. After this, we watched the sunset together, and we shared stories of our lives.
Then we swam in the pool until it got late. The next day, we took a tour around the beach and met
other teens. We all enjoyed the breathtaking views.
The last day, we decided to stay at the beach all day long playing, eating, and swimming.
At the end, we made a fire, sang some songs, danced and had a great time until the day was over.
It was an excellent experience we are never going to forget. I hope to repeat the trip again next year. 5

6. LAS VACACIONES DE PETE
Recuerdo mi primer viaje a la playa con mis mejores amigos. Hace un año, mis amigos y yo fuimos a la playa de Montañita a
descansar y disfrutar de nuestras vacaciones juntos. Pasamos tres días increíbles allí.
Llegamos el viernes y primero empezamos a buscar hotel. Cuando lo encontramos, fuimos a la playa y comenzamos un divertido
partido de fútbol. Después de esto, vimos juntos el atardecer y compartimos historias de nuestras vidas.
Luego nadamos en la piscina hasta que se hizo tarde. Al día siguiente, hicimos un recorrido por la playa y conocimos a otros
adolescentes. Todos disfrutamos de las impresionantes vistas.
El último día, decidimos quedarnos en la playa todo el día jugando, comiendo y nadando.
Al final hicimos una fogata, cantamos algunas canciones, bailamos y lo pasamos en grande hasta que terminó el día.
Fue una experiencia excelente que nunca olvidaremos. Espero volver a repetir el viaje el año que viene.

DÉ UNA SUGERENCIA PARA MANTENER NUESTRAS PLAYAS ECUATORIANAS SEGURAS.
EXAMPLES:
1.By bringing a designated bag for your compostable and trash,
you`re more likely to toss them in immediately and less likely to
set them down and forget about disposing of them when it`s
time to head home.
2.To keep our beaches safe, we must take care of them,
promoting tourism and keeping the space in which, we are clean,
not throwing garbage, plastic that contaminates the water and
soil.
3.To educate people who maintain clean spaces on the beaches
in Ecuador, awareness campaigns and more demanding rules
should be carried out for those who do not comply with them.

basura, es más probable que los arroje de inmediato y
menos probabilidades de que los deje y se olvide de
desecharlos cuando sea el momento de regresar a casa.
2. Para mantener seguras nuestras playas debemos
cuidarlas, promoviendo el turismo y manteniendo el
espacio en el que estamos limpios, no tirando basura,
plástico que contamina el agua y el suelo.
3. Para educar a las personas que mantienen limpios
los espacios en las playas de Ecuador, se deben realizar
campañas de concientización y normas más exigentes
para quienes no las cumplen.
COMPOSTAJE.-Materia orgánica procedente de residuos agrícolas y de la jardinería tratados para acelerar su
descomposición y ser utilizados como fertilizante. 9
