estudiante la oportunidad de ver
cómo su comprensión
evoluciona y se desarrolla ante
nuevas situaciones.
El desempeño de comprensión,
por lo tanto, compromete al
estudiante a demostrar
públicamente lo que ha
comprendido.
7. Ejecuciones públicas, creativas y flexibles, que
implican un reto y que suponen el abordaje de
problemas novedosos de la disciplina;
evidencian el logro de la comprensión.
Los estudiantes elaboran Proyectos de Síntesis
en los cuales deben ejercitar las competencias
de los cursos, en el abordaje de problemas
novedosos en sus disciplinas.

12. Name of
Project “Health Plan”
Purpose
The students will work in groups and do research regarding current
eating habits and exercise they do among students of 11th grade.
The Health Plan they produce will serve as a guide for them in
order to lead a healthier lifestyle from now own. With this in mind,
all information must be related to their current setting and that of
their life after school. Not only will they be as concise and accurate
as possible, but they will also carry out proper research.
Assessment
Criteria
Their work in class will be assessed from the moment they start,
but grading will take place upon the presentation of the project on
July 11th. Two components will be assessed formally: Oral
Production (presentation and support) and Written production. If
information is copied literally from any source (without proper
reference), it will render the Project invalid for assessment, and it
will therefore be awarded a failing grade in the Written aspect. In
general, all projects will be assessed in terms of structure and
vocabulary accuracy, and quality of information, among other
aspects.

Project “Health Plan”
Presentation
Format
The Project will be presented in an A4 size, and the information
may be hand-written or printed. Creativity and neatness are
encouraged, but they will not determine whether the project will
be awarded a “failing” or “passing” grade as they will not affect its
purpose. The number of pages in the Plan is free, but each project
must contain relevant sections, e.g. introduction, purpose,
findings, conclusions, recommendations, or any other that the
groups deems appropriate.
Additional
details
All work must be done in class. Students may need to use iPads in
class for the research stage, so proper scheduling and planning
must be made by each teacher. Should a student be absent on the
day of the presentation, he or she must arrange another day to
complete his or her part. Students may decide to work on some
features outside school, but that is not a requirement and will not
be used either in favor or against the final assessment.
