SESIÓN 1
ACTIVIDAD 1.
El profesor muestra a los alumnos un video sobre el fin de semana de una estudiante en el
cual se mencionan actividades que comúnmente se realizan en el tiempo libre.
(10 MINUTOS)
ACTIVIDAD 2.
El profesor pregunta a los alumnos qué actividades son las que muestra el video y escribe
el tipo de estas actividades en el pizarrón (leisure activities). Anexo 1
El profesor describe las actividades recreativas que él realizó en su tiempo libre durante el
fin de semana pasada, usando como referencia la información utilizada en la actividad
anterior. Así mismo, el profesor aclara al momento de dar instrucciones a los alumnos, que
el objetivo de la actividad no es entender cada palabra que él mencione, sino poner
atención para así obtener una idea general de la información.

DESARROLLO
ACTIVIDAD 3.
El profesor divide la clase en A y B y forma parejas compuestas por un alumno A y uno B.
En la primera parte de la actividad, el profesor proporciona a los alumnos A un texto que
describe las actividades realizadas por una estudiante de bachillerato durante el fin de
semana anterior. Anexo 2
El alumno A debe leer el texto al alumno B.
El alumno B recibe el mismo texto con ciertas omisiones de información.
El alumno B escribe la información faltante según lo que narre El alumno A.
El alumno A lee la información tres veces.
El profesor comenta a los alumnos B que algunos de ellos tendrán problemas para realizar
la actividad, por lo que es necesario que traten de ser pacientes y tolerantes al momento
de escuchar a su compañero. Es probable que no entiendan lo que se le dice la primera
vez.; sin embargo, Se le leerá la información tres veces, de modo que puedan realizar la
actividad poco a poco.
En la segunda parte de la actividad, El alumno B debe leer un texto diferente al alumno A.
El alumno A recibe el mismo texto con ciertas omisiones de información.
El alumno A escribe la información faltante según lo que narre el alumno B.
El profesor hace el comentario a los alumnos A de los posibles problemas que enfrentarán
al escuchar a sus compañeros y la forma en que pueden manejar esa situación.

ACTIVIDAD 4.
El profesor proporciona a los alumnos una hoja de trabajo que tiene una tabla. Anexo 3.
Los alumnos deben marcar el nombre de la persona que hizo las actividades que se
mencionan en la tabla, según los textos utilizados en la actividad anterior.
ACTIVIDAD 5.
El profesor usa la información de la tabla anterior para modelar un enunciado ejemplo en
pasado simple en forma afirmativa. El profesor escribe otro en forma negativa.
El profesor une los enunciados con el conector But.
Cinthia played table tennis.
She didn't win.
Cinthia played table tennis, but she didn't win.

5. SECUENCIA DIDÁCTICA
El profesor usa la información de la tabla anterior y escribe más ejemplos en pasado
usando los conectores BECAUSE, AND, ALSO.
Ejemplos:
They ate out because they were very hungry.
John played football but Cinthia played table tennis.
Cinthia ate out, John also ate out.
Cinthia bought a dress. She also bought a book.
John played football and he won the game.

ACTIVIDAD 6.
El profesor proporciona a los alumnos una hoja de trabajo. Anexo 4. En grupos, los alumnos
unen los enunciados en la columna A con los de la columna B usando los conectores
BECAUSE, AND, ALSO, BUT en las formas afirmativa y negativa del pasado simple.
Posteriormente, el profesor revisa la actividad y proporciona retroalimentación.

ACTIVIDAD 7.
El profesor solicita a los alumnos que redacten un párrafo acerca de las actividades
recreativas que realizaron durante el fin de semana anterior utilizando las formas
afirmativa y negativa del pasado simple, así como los conectores vistos durante esta sesión.
Posteriormente, los alumnos intercambian los textos y hacen una revisión de pares. El
profesor revisa los textos al final de la clase y corrige los errores.
El profesor solicita a los alumnos que elaboren un póster electrónico, video o presentación
en Power Point para ilustrar su video. Así mismo, el profesor entrega una lista de cotejo
para elaborar el medio con el que van a ilustrar su párrafo. Anexo 5.
El profesor indica que presentarán su párrafo ilustrado en la siguiente sesión.

ACTIVIDAD 8.

6. SECUENCIA DIDÁCTICA
En la primera parte de la actividad, previo a las presentaciones de los alumnos, el profesor
reparte en el grupo una hoja con una serie de preguntas en pasado. Anexo 6.
Ejemplo:
• Did you have a good weekend?
• What did you eat at the weekend?
• Did you go shopping?
En conjunto con los alumnos, el profesor revisa cada una de las preguntas y resuelve dudas
de vocabulario y/o gramática.

En la segunda parte de la actividad, los alumnos presentan los párrafos que escribieron la
clase anterior y el medio electrónico que eligieron para ilustrarlo.
Los alumnos hacen las preguntas a sus compañeros presentadores.
El profesor proporciona retro alimentación y la calificación asignada a la presentación
con la lista de cotejo antes mencionada. Anexo 5.
