Hay dos espacios: cavidad peritoneal y espacio
subperitoneal
El peritoneo es la estructura que separa los anteriores
El espacio subperitoneal contiene todos los órganos,
vasos y nervios del abdomen y pelvis, teniendo en
cuenta la definición de Retroperitoneo como el espacio
posterior a la membrana peritoneal.
La diseminación de enfermedades puede ocurrir en
cada espacio, así mismo, puede ocurrir de manera
transperitoneal que es bidireccional.

Hay fascia rectovesical hombre y rectovaginal mujer. Espacio presacal posterior a recto. El espacio perirectal comunica con mesocolon sigmoide.

Fascia renal
Dicvide espacio pararenal anterior , espacio perinefrico entre fascia renal,
Espacio posterior pararenal y fascia transversal.
La fascia renal posterior presenta dos capas, anter continua con fasc renal ante y las posterior fascia lateroconal.
Las fascias renalaes se fusionan infrarenal dando espacio infrarenal.
El espacio pararenal anterior contiene, pancreas, duodeno, colon ascendente, y colon descendente. Epsacio perinefrcio contiene riño y glandula, el posteiro no contieneorganos.
Fascia Renal anterior gerota y posterior zuckerkandl , sato le llamo espacio interfascial y en los 80 plano interfacial. Molmenty 96 y compañía lo demostratorn .y acuñaron plano retromesenterico y plano retrorenal.
La fascia retromesenterica se fusiona con el mesocolon ascendente y descendente.
El plano interfacial resultado de la fusion del retrorena y retromesneterico explica difusion hastapelvis delante del psoas mayo .
