3. INTRODUCTION
Staying healthy involves a balanced diet. People who
practice good nutrition develop a lifetime of habits that will
keep them healthy for many years. Most everyone has been
told in some form or another to "eat a healthy diet," and for
good reason. The benefits of a nutritionally sound lifestyle
are countless and include decreased risk for and treatment of
infections and disease, improved emotional well-being and
healthy weight management. To improve your overall
physical and emotional well-being, consider a healthy dietary
lifestyle.
5. The colour orange was named
after the fruit.
The word orange itself was introduced to English
through the Spanish word “naranja”, which came from
the Sanskrit word naranga, which literally means
“orange tree”. The English dropped the leading “n”
and eventually we got the word “orange”. It was
around the early 16th century that the word orange
gradually started being used to not only refer to the
fruit , but also what we now know of as the colour
orange.
