El syllabus actúa como un contrato entre el profesor y el estudiante, guiando el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y asegurando que ambos conozcan sus responsabilidades. Se centra en la enseñanza del idioma a través de contenidos relevantes, permitiendo a los estudiantes integrar diversas habilidades mientras aprenden un segundo idioma. A pesar de sus ventajas, como la motivación y la exposición al lenguaje, presenta desventajas como la falta de conocimiento del profesor y recursos limitados.

2. SYLLABUS
La principal función del syllabus es de actuar como un contrato entre el profesor y el estudiante, en el que cada uno se compromete con el proceso de
enseñanza- aprendizaje; el profesor con la información que será transmitida y como será transmitida, y los estudiantes en lo que deberán aprender.
The main function of the syllabus is to act as a contract between the teacher and the student, in which each one is committed to the teaching-learning
process; the teacher with the information that will be transmitted and how it will be transmitted, and the students in what they should learn.

Un syllabus no es solo para el maestro, es un elemento de guía con el que cuenta el estudiante y que va detallando su progreso, el alumno debe
conocer para qué está aprendiendo un determinado tema y qué a va realizar como producción en base al elemento aprendido, por ello es importante
presentar al estudiantado la secuencia de lo qué se va a realizar en las clases, así mismo, la fase de producción de los estudiantes respecto al
conocimiento adquirido que esta detallado en nuestros planes de clase.

A syllabus is not just for the teacher, it's a guiding element that the student has and that is detailing their progress, the student must know what is
learning a certain topic and what going to do as a production based on the learned element, so it is important to present to the student the sequence
of what is going to be done in the classes, likewise, the students' production phase regarding the acquired knowledge is detailed in our class plans.

3. CONTENT- BASED
• Para este tipo de syllabus las actividades presentadas en el salón de clase, en la lengua extranjera, deben estar conectadas
por el contenido, es decir en la clase de inglés se puede seleccionar un tema de otra asignatura, que los estudiantes ya hayan
visto, y presentarlo en el idioma extranjero, así habrá una evocación de conocimientos previos que ayuden al estudiante a
expresar los mismos en la lengua extranjera.
• For this type of syllabus the activities presented in the classroom, in the foreign language, must be connected by the
content, that is, in the English class you can select a subject of another subject, which the students have already seen, and
present it in the foreign language, so there will be an evocation of previous knowledge that will help the student to express
them in the foreign language.

4. CARACTERÍSTICAS:
-Ayuda a los estudiantes a aprender el idioma a través del estudio de una serie de temas relevantes.
-Da a los estudiantes mucha exposición al lenguaje.
-Enseñanza de lenguaje comunicativo.
-Los estudiantes aprenden el idioma como un subproducto del aprendizaje del contenido del mundo real.

• - Poco material disponible en el mercado para enseñar los diferentes temas en el lenguaje específico.
• -Los profesores deben aprender a integrar mejor el lenguaje académico y el contenido en sus clases.
Disadvantages:

7. EJEMPLO
El propósito principal de la instrucción es enseñar algún contenido o información utilizando el
idioma que los estudiantes también están aprendiendo, en otras palabras, los estudiantes usan el
idioma extranjero para estudiar otras materias tales como:
Ciencia, Matemáticas, Biología, etc.; y de esta manera, aprenden no solo el tema, sino que mejoran
el uso de su lenguaje al mismo tiempo.
Este principio se opera en inmersión.

they are acquiring new information. finally, this syllabus is often used in immersion programs.

Materia: biología.
Tema: la célula.
Vocabulario: partes de la célula.
Estructura: tiempo presente simple y tiempo presente continuo .
El maestro organiza las formas y estructuras y las ajusta a los temas.
El beneficio de un plan de estudios basado en contenido, es que los estudiantes se sienten satisfechos con el objetivo de aprender
el idioma de destino y, al mismo tiempo, están adquiriendo nueva información. Finalmente, este silabo se usa a menudo en
programas de inmersión..
