• Primera causa de muerte en menores de

• Es más frecuente en niños entre 1 a 4
  años de edad.

Manejo de la fiebre: Acetaminofen 10-15
mg/kg/dosis cada 4-6 horas, si fiebre > 38.5 "C

divididos cada 8 horas
durante 10 días.

  • 2. • Inflamación del alveolo y espacio terminal en respuesta a la invasión por un agente infeccioso el cual puede introducirse por vía hematógena o inhalación.

  • 4. Agentes etiológicos Recién Nacidos a 21 días según grupo de edad:

  • 8. • Primera causa de muerte en menores de 5 años • Es más frecuente en niños entre 1 a 4 años de edad. Riesgo de presentar neumonía: 4/100 niños 2/100 niños 1/100 niños preescolares de 5-9 años. 9-15 años.
