Es la administración de O2 en cantidad suficiente
para que la PaO2 y la SHb se mantengan en
RANGO NORMAL
Objetivo: Llevar a los tejidos la cantidad de O2
suficiente para satisfacer las necesidades
metabólicas.

Normal 80-100 mmHg
Hipoxemia leve 60-70 mmHg
Hipoxemia moderada 40-59 mmHg
Hipoxemia grave Bajo 40 mmhg

Temperatura: de la mezcla inspirada, debe ser la de
la temperatura neutra del recién nacido.
Flujo: velocidad de la mezcla administrada, en litros
