problemas emocionales
programa paso por paso a
través de recompensas.
mejoran su
comportamiento.
4. consideran indeseable que los niños
Críticos sean recompensados extrínsecamente
por cada acción.
Skinner Responde que esto a veces es
necesario cuando otros métodos no
funcionan.
Conductistas Consideran al niño como un organismo
programado antes de ir a la escuela.
Influenciados
por : padres,
hermanos o TV.
5. El objetivo principal de las
técnicas conductistas
Cambiar el comportamiento y apuntar en direcciones
más deseables.
6. Skinner was a strong
advocate of education,
although many critics argue
that what he meant by
education is not education but
"training"
8. Many behaviorists use positive and
negative methods of reinforcing
behavior, skinner advocates positive
reinforcement. Aversive
reinforcement, although is may be
effective, often has many bad side
effects. The same results can be
achieved through rewarding good
behavior rather than punishing bad
behavior.
9. For Example:
In experiments to train pigeons to perform
certain activities, the pigeons are rewarded with
food when they peck the proper square.
10. METHODS of BEHAVIORISM
According to the behaviorist,
teachers have many rewards or
reinforces at their disposal: praise,
a smile, a touch, stars, candies, or
what have you.
11. One might briefly describe a
procedure for behavior modification
in the ordinary classroom as
follows:
1.- Specify the desired outcome, what needs to be
changed, and how it will be evaluated
2.- Establish a favorable environment by removing
unfavorable stimuli that might complicate learning.
3.- Begin shaping desired behavior by using immediate
reinforces for desired behavior
4.- Evaluate results and reassess for future
development.
12. For Example
A student runs in the hallways, endangering
other students and herself. For safety, the
teacher wants to modify the behavior so that
running ceases: the objective will be achieved
when the student stops running.
13. Skinner thought that learning should take place
in small steps and succeeding questions should
have some relationship to the preceding ones.
Some of the early teaching machines rewarded
the children with candy or spoke to them, but
recent studies indicate that getting the right
answer is often reward enough

volver a leerlo y comprobarlo.
