ECUACIONES DIFERENCIALES REDUCIBLES A
ECUACIONES DE PRIMER ORDEN
M´ETODO
Dada la ecuaci´on diferencial lineal de segundo orden
y + f(x)y + g(x)y = 0
ecuaci´on.
z = y −→ z = y
hace la siguiente transformaci´on:
y = z −→ y = z
dz
dx
4. ED REDUCIBLES A ECUACIONES DE PRIMER ORDEN
EJEMPLO 1
1 Dada la ecuaci´on xy = y , reducirla a una ecuaci´on de primer orden y
encontrar su soluci´on.
Soluci´on:
Sea z = y −→ z = y
Separando variables
dz
z
=
dx
x
E integrando: ln z = ln x + ln c
es decir: z = c1xdx
Como z = y −→ dy = c1xdx
Integrando nuevamente aparece la soluci´on general:
y = c1
x2
2
+ c2
5. ED REDUCIBLES A ECUACIONES DE PRIMER ORDEN
EJEMPLO 2
1 Dada la ecuaci´on y − yy = y , reducirla a una ecuaci´on de primer
orden y encontrar su soluci´on.
Soluci´on: En esta caso utilizaremos la sustituci´on y = z −→ y = z
dz
dx
la ecuaci´on es, entonces, z
dz
dy
− yz = z.
Dividiendo entre z y separando variables: dz = (y + 1)dy
Integrando: z =
y2
2
+ y + c1, es decir:
dy
dx
=
y2
2
+ y + c1
o de forma equivalente:
2dy
y2 + 2y + c1
= dx
1
2dy
(y + 1)2 + c2
1
= dx Integrando y = c1 tan(c1x + c2) − 1
